Yes, it looks like I'm going to have to keep track of the file length and read chunks looking for text matches. I was thinking in terms of reading by line, but I don't have to do that.

A Tall Tail
I'm having the terrible issues with tail-ing my log files using: Loop,read,%LogFileMine% LastLine:= A_LoopReadLine if InStr(LastLine,"insert trigger here, etc")... If not much is being written to the log file things work fine, but if there is a bunch of combat spam the chances that I catch the line ...

I've been removing the titlebar from the Dark Age of Camelot client for about 100 years with: WinWaitActive,%DAoCWindName% WinSet,Style,-0xC00000,%DAoCWindName% WinXP: worked like a charm. Win7: failed 5%. Win10: fails 50%. I'm stuck with Win10 now. When it works... it ...

Wow, I give up scripting for a few years and all hell breaks loose. Glad to see someone's still carrying the torch. After installing AHK (via AHK.com) I tried to install SciTE4AutoHotKey and it made angry noises about using the old version of AHK. WTF I thought. It took me a while to find my way her...
