When I'm logged in, it's fine, but as a guest, still appears broken for some reason.

Edit: using 0-width space char, the body can be effectively empty, even with the minimum. But using it in the subject doesn't work (when logged in).

Re: Masonjar13's Library List

I'm going to assume you meant example . Generally, if you're going to be using multi-threading, you probably already have a reason and general understanding of it. Therefore, the method names are very informative. If you scroll up 8 posts, you'll see an example of sending an object to a new thread, ...

Re: Masonjar13's Library List

New_ahk_kid I'm not sure what you're asking. This is a forum post regarding my library that is on Github. What from my library were you wondering about? There are quite a few functions in there. The descriptions provided should accurately tell you what each one is used for, though I don't have the ...

Re: is there more professional way to write this Simple ... Topic is solved

Depending on your use case, this would also work.

Code: Select all

setKeyDelay,1000 ; specify this in the auto-execute, or at the beginning of a logical thread (hotkey, timer, etc.)

send ^{r}{Enter}

Re: an HTTP GET or POST call to URL

Sorry about that error, I was pulling that out from a class method, forgot that one return ;) Is the command Try better to use than ErrorLevel ? ErrorLevel doesn't actually do anything, it just allows you to get the error if a command sets one. A try block will not throw any visual/breaking errors, ...

Re: WinHttp post request

Looks correct. Have you checked your server logs? Did you see a connection, possibly failed? You may need to authenticate first, or open your endpoint to the public. Potentially, you could also be timing out (though this should throw an error on AHK). You can use whr.setTimeouts() to alter those, if...

Re: an HTTP GET or POST call to URL

Build the post data with CreateFormData , then use WinHttp.WinHttpRequest.5.1 to send the data. endpoint:="se-1.cellsynt.net/sms.php" ; url pointing to the API endpoint data:={"username":"demo","password":"test123"} ; key-val data to be posted try{ ; only way to properly protect from an error here c...

You need to create and send the form data (param 2). You can use this to build your data: https://gist.github.com/tmplinshi/8428a280bba58d25ef0b

Re: Detect when montior is turned off or idle?

Considering this is a 4 year old thread.. Idk. But taking a look at the structure, if you're using 7 or below, GUID_MONITOR_POWER_ON is needed, which reports either 0 or 1. But, for 8+, GUID_CONSOLE_DISPLAY_STATE is used, which has 0, 1, or 2, where 2 = dimmed. How I had written it, dimmed is synony...

Re: Hot string # problem Topic is solved

Code: Select all

:*?T:###::#ifwinactive
:*?:###::+3ifwinactive
By default, hotstrings are interpreted like send. Modifiers are able to be used. T doesn't use modifiers, just sends raw, so that's what I would recommend using here.

strSplit

Code: Select all

x:="1,2,3,4,99,33"
array:=strSplit(x,",")

Re: Wait for window, then send a cancel command

ControlClick the x or cancel control. If there isn't a control, you can try sending it at exact (client-based) coordinates. I have several persistent windows such as this, and giving them the interaction they expect usually gives positive results. It has for me, anyways.

I'm going to assume you didn't write these then? With that many questions, I would direct you to the tutorial. That should clear up most of your questions, and probably better than I could explain here.

Re: Looking for a fancy way to close a script when iTunes does.

I believe the core of your issue is that you're using iTunes. ;) I'll never miss an opportunity to bash Apple. For funsies. Assuming that it will work okay (but not close the script) if you return in the callback, using a timer should work. Bit dirty, but I don't see another proper way, unless you m...

Re: some kind of bug causing some errors?

This isn't a bug with AHK. What's happening is your control is getting stuck in the "down" position. I can't exactly say where, but try using hooks first off. Second, since it's all in the same context, you should place them all in the same script. At the very least, having them all in the same scri...

Re: When color found - Sends discord message Topic is solved

Two things. First, yeah, posting the script should be the first thing you do, so people know what you're doing and can figure out how to help you. Second, what you've described breaks Discords TOS, which makes you subject to being banned by them. Thought I'd give you a fair warning.

Re: AHK Not working and keeps breaking

Perhaps I should expand a bit on that. Using ScriptUp, which runs H due to L not having multi-threading, #ifxxx crashes the thread on exiting, therefore I've personally deprecated it (this has nothing to do with my implementation, I've checked). It's also extremely limited, but as you said, does wor...
