Re: AutoGUI 2.5

Here is my workaround:

Code: Select all

nil:="", (A_PtrSize = 8)
	 ? VarSetCapacity(RECT, 16, 0)
	 : ( … )
The main thing is that the line does not start with a brace!

Re: Internet Explorer Element Spy (alternative to iWB2 Learner)

No. What are you referring to is (benign) incompatibility of iWb2_Learner with modern html scripts, I guess. To reenable capture you can merely go to some other element (in jeeswg's example on element with text). The crash I experience when (very) slowly crossing red and yellow border (in exemp. 2 a...

Re: Internet Explorer Element Spy (alternative to iWB2 Learner)

For me NestedFramesExample 2 and NestedFramesExample 3 are causing v3.2 to crash when I with the mouse cursor slowly cross from red region to yellow (or vice versa) evaluating elements.
Quick cross doesn't cause harm.

Re: Internet Explorer Element Spy (alternative to iWB2 Learner)

What about v3.2?
Edit: At first I didn't remember what were those problematic sites (causing crashes), but now I think they are Google sites around that annoying "Download Google Chrome" banner. v3.3 is doing fine while previous versions can crash.

Re: Internet Explorer Element Spy (alternative to iWB2 Learner)

In the last time I experienced iWB2_Learner to crash on certain elements of certain sites.
After jeeswg released his html test scripts some of which make iWB2_Learner crash too, I made simple changes to prevent this.

Re: Script not working in Fullscreen

What triggers the Hotkey routine? Or is there just a typo?
(If you want the trigger key is : you should use ::: as a Hotkey label.)

Other wise try to run the script as admin!

Re: Win-key Too Aggressive

First take a look here . The best I've gotten is: #Esc:: ; just an exemple. Use any key combo starting with #. Send, {Ctrl Down} while GetKeyState("LWin", "P") ; for left Win key (can be modified for r. or both) Send, {Ctrl Down} st:=A_TickCount While (A_TickCount-st<500) Send, {Ctrl Down} Send, {Ct...

Re: Send {Alt} doesn't work

If you unconditionally want this way you should at least do:

Code: Select all

Send {Alt}{Down}
for the first "sending" line.

But consider to take a look at WinMenuSelectItem.

Re: Copying from a hidden window

Try this: (exemple for Google Translate in IE11) ;~ if (HiddState:=A_DetectHiddenWindows="Off") ; this line is needed only for a complex code DetectHiddenWindows, On ; needed to retrieve handle of a hidden window control, but not to copy ControlGet, CtrlHwnd, Hwnd,, Internet Explorer_Server1, Google...

Re: Magnification API

This is great! The first Ahk magnifier I know, wich works on modern Windows correctly! Adding -Caption , -DpiScreen , NA and WS_EX_CLICKTHROUGH becomes really useful! P.s.: Shouldn't be this: vRectX := vMouseX-Floor(vGuiW/(2*vMagFactor)), vRectY := vMouseY-Floor(vGuiH/(2*vMagFactor)) making vRectY +...

Possible bug/limitation

Very grandiose work! Didn't migrate to you yet, but I'm checking periodically. Not sure if this is a known issue or it just appears on my OS (Win10). Parentheses at the beginning of the line seem to prevent highlighting the rest of the code below that line. (a:=5) Sleep, 15 ; lacks highlight in Auto...

Re: How to make the condition "true for x milliseconds"?

Try to implement this: SetTimer, WatchCursor, 250 Return WatchCursor: if CursorVisible && (A_TickCount-CursorAppear >= 20000) Reload Else Gosub, GetCursorVar Return GetCursorVar: ; here paste your code wich will set CursorVisibe to 1 if visible otherwise to 0 if !CursorVisible CursorAppear:= "" else...

Re: Faster horizontal scroll

Obviously this is due to how your app handles these commands.
A workaround would be to programmatically click aside from the scroll bar (if it is visible and if manuel click works as expected).

Re: Faster horizontal scroll

Well, when you turn the Wheel quick enough the variable rNotch increments. rNotch is then used, to send Shift+Right that muche of times.

Re: Faster horizontal scroll

The above suggestion should work, but is not very rational. Here is the whole code ;#IfWinActive, WinTitle ; Replace "WinTitle" with your app Title and uncomment this and last line <+WheelDown:: ; Scroll right. <+WheelUp:: ; Scroll left. (A_ThisHotkey!=A_PriorHotkey||A_TimeSincePriorHotkey>450)? rNo...

What's the full name of your app? Is it Share/Free ware?

Btw: If +Left/Right works for you then instead of SendMessage use e.g. Send, +{Left %rNotch%}.

Re: Faster horizontal scroll

To test it open Notepad, write a very very long line, run the script above and turn Wheel while pressing left Shift down.
If it works in Notepad and not in your app, then try to run the script as admin...
Edit: In Notepad for test you should uncheck Word Wrap (Format>Word Wrap).

If you can't retrieve data... it'll be tough.
Maybe you should look at FindText if it suits you.
