Any idea about what to send to break the sequence ? I am starting to think maybe that is impossible ...

Preventing triple click by moving the mouse not working

I need my script to do: - first a single click to put the cursor where the caret is - and then a double click to select a word The problem I have is that various programs ie visual studio or Notepad3 interpret that as a triple click and select the whole line. I am looking for a way to prevent that. ...

detect if keyboard has RWin

I have a script I sometimes use on a keyboard which have an RWin key and sometimes on a keyboard that does not have it.

I want my script to be aware of that and map keys differently in each case.

How can I tell ?

Thanks!

A_TimeIdleKeyboard 0 inside HotKey handler

A_TimeIdleKeyboard is always 0 inside HotKey handler

ie,

Code: Select all

F12::
	ToolTip, % "k: " A_TimeIdleKeyboard "`r`n" "m: " A_TimeIdleMouse
	return
Is there a way to get a useful value - that is the last A_TimeIdleKeyboard value before the key that triggered the hotkey was pressed ?

Thanks!

Determine which was used last, mouse or keyboard

I need a way to determine which was used last, mouse (movement or buttons) or keyboard (any key) I don't need _any_ further information (ie which key, mouse button, mouse deltas etc) so I'm looking for something small and simple. Seems I maybe need to hook into SetWindowsHookEx but I'm not sure how ...

I am trying to find out if there is a better more efficient way to detect a mouse movement without using a timer & mousegetpos ?

Re: Detect "manual" mouse movement Topic is solved

You didn't understand my question. What is the most efficient way to get a function to fire when the user moved the mouse ? can this be done without a timer ?
