Re: BlockInput, MouseMove Not working

Meh. I'm not blaming this on Java. In fact, me being a PHP nut, I have a warm spot in my heart for nearly any scripted programming language. I wouldn't be surprised if Mojang/Microsoft purposely did this to prevent scripting anything in the game. And blaming Microsuck is easy, so that's my story. lol

Re: BlockInput, MouseMove Not working

Aha. Yea, that is a little ... redundant and/or counter intuitive. ;)

Sadly, I don't seem to have a way around it. BlockInput, MouseMoveOff simply doesn't work in the Java version of Minecraft.

Re: BlockInput, MouseMove Not working

Thanks for clearing that up. Since it's happened several times, I thought it was a glitch. However, the error page incorrectly stated that the topic doesn't exist. Not a biggie, I suppose. EDIT: Sorry for going off-topic! thenomad , I would very much like to hear what your issue was and how y...

Re: BlockInput, MouseMove Not working

I just received a notification that thenomad posted a reply to this topic, but the link in the notification leads to a "topic doesn't exist" error, and I cannot see any new reply here. EDIT: All my notifications link to that error page. The URL in the dead link is: https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/...

Re: BlockInput, MouseMove Not working

Hey, @Selmafudd. I'm having this same issue in a very similar script for use in Minecraft. BlockInput, MouseMove is not working in Minecraft, but does everywhere else. This used to work sometime before @Selmafudd started this thread. Did anyone ever learn why and/or how to fix this? My next step is ...

I love this! I don't know why - it's very simple, but fun.

I wasn't speaking specifically of the plugin, but that moving spam to an invisible forum is a rather odd way of dealing with it. Not what I'm familiar with.

Re: [Installed] Notifications on new posts in own threads

The link points to a topic in the SPAM "graveyard" forum, which is hidden from users. A spammer has posted in a thread or forum that you are subscribed to, but a moderator has already dealt with the spam. So, since I cannot view that post, it remains in my notifications forever? Seems a very strang...

Re: [Installed] Notifications on new posts in own threads

I'm getting a notification for something labeled "SPAM - PLEASE WAIT". The link leads to: http://ahkscript.org/boards/viewtopic.php?t=6876&p=41379#p41379 ...but when clicked, I get: "You are not authorised to read this forum." I'm also getting that when I click notification links in emails, but shou...

When clicking the link in my notification email about this topic, I get "You are not authorized to view this...", but when clicking the link in the fancy new notifications doohicky at the top of every page, it works fine. Re: Notifications on new posts in own threads

May be of interest: How does facebook, gmail send the real time notification? Stupid question: I know that Faceplant works well, but I thought that delaying the response to the request would tie up the server as much or similar to multiple requests. Would that depend on the server, like Apache vs. ...

It sounds like you've got it cornered, but figuring out the custom changes made by others can be tricky. Good luck!

Re: Notifications on new posts in own threads

Yeah, of course this would kind of duplicate code because there will be multiple file that can validate a login cookie, but therefore it would drastically reduce CPU/RAM usage which is much more valuable than disk space. Just believe me loading 10000 functions/variables into the RAM just because yo...

Re: Notifications on new posts in own threads

Am I correct in thinking that this only works if the user has PM notifications turned on? It seems there should be a way to include another option in the UCP for this.
