Record a WAV file with BASS.dll

I might be several years too late for anyone who was excited about Bass.dll. I never actually saw anyone do a successful record with bass.dll, there was input meters but nothing else. Below is a script to record to a wav file. Thanks Lexikos for your assistance over one of my hurdles. SetBatchLines,...

Re: Hey im new to this and need help!

Sure, I'll bite. What exactly do you need help with. Something specific? Unfortuneately you are a verbal/aural learner, The autohotkey documentation is really good. but you do have to read it, same with the forum. Same with the code, you have to be able to read code. Autohotkey forum is full of help...

Re: Retrieving data buffer from DllCallback with pointer. Topic is solved

As long you as you don't close the file the you remain at the end so you don't need to seek, so to your question, yes you just RawWrite the buffer every time the function is called.

file.rawwrite(buffer+0,length)

Re: Sending Serial Data?

I recently went through the same delema this guy did and dug through all the old com port scripts, they just weren't friendly or useable. I ended making my own command line tool in PureBasic which I call from Autohotkey with my send paramaters, alot like the app for which I posted a link to, which i...

Re: Open a folder via a shortcut and then browse the folders inside

just add the path you want to open in the run command like below, using a shortcut is unnecessary entirely.

Code: Select all

#Numpad1::Run "C:\Users\myself\Documents\b\"

from what you describe it sounds like the programmer set a limit.

but you can try:

Re: Retrieving data buffer from DllCallback with pointer. Topic is solved

Thanks Lexikos! Yes it was buffer+0 that got it so I could write the PCM/WAV buffer. I feel stupid. I swear I tried that when reading the instructions for rawwrite, it specifically makes these references in help file: VarOrAddress | A variable containing the data or the address of the data in memory...

Re: Modifying/Combining functionality of two hotkeys

Okay in my example, you'll need to remove the lines where the hotkey get's turned off, that seems to cause an issue, a hotkey turning itself off.
