Re: help needed moving mouse after clicking

I think you can benefit from the if statements (for performing actions based on conditions) and the click command to click on different locations of the screen.

At the moment your script clicks where the mouse is located because you are using the click command without more parameters.

FileCreateDir not creating parent folders Topic is solved

Hi! I was trying to create a directory using FileCreateDir and the documentation states the following: This command will also create all parent directories given in DirName if they do not already exist. What I understand by that is that if I use the following command: FileCreateDir, dir1/dir2 where ...

SysGet incorrectly identifies monitors

This issue was briefly talked about in this archived thread: sysget-incorrectly-identifies-monitors The problem is that there seems to be no solution to this issue and some tools actually use sysget to work. I was tinkering with Gdip_BitmapFromScreen and passed 1 as a parameter expecting to get the ...

Re: Send {Raw} / {Text} terminators

Having any symbol, keyword or combination of characters that is given special meaning within the {Raw} mode would defeat the purpose. For instance, your script would fail if you have copied the text of your post, since %clipboard% would contain {EndRaw} which was intended to be literal, but would i...

Re: Key name synonyms

Totally agree, I think simplicity is better in most cases, and having double names while sometimes convenient cause a lot of confusion in other situations.

Re: Key names without the modifiers?

I think you can achieve that with a simple instr() like so:

Code: Select all

if instr(ThisHotkey, "LButton")
if (instr(ThisHotkey, "RButton") && instr(ThisHotkey, "C")) ; check for 2 keys

Re: Send Message When New Player Joins

Whats happening is that very likely PixelSearch is not finding what you are looking for. The PX and PY variables are the names that YOU decide where to store the information from the search, you can change those to whatever you want. for example: $space:: loop { PixelSearch, FoundX, FoundY, 0, 930, ...

Re: Send Message When New Player Joins

Pixelsearch looks for a color in the specified range and if found out saves the location on px and py. What you'd like to do is check if the pixel is found and only then send the message. So you're missing and if statement. I would try: $space:: loop { PixelSearch, Px, Py, 0, 930, 570, 499, FBA700, ...

Hi @RaptorX,

You are confusing the New in the Gui, New command with the name of the Gui. If you change the first line to

Code: Select all

Gui, New:New, +AlwaysOnTop
the script works.

Re: One Switch loop, two vars x & y Topic is solved

Yeah sure!

You can make use of the Ternary operator like this:

Code: Select all

F2::Reload
F1::

Random, x, 0, 4
Random, y, 0, 4
ToolTip, % "x = " . x . "`n y = " . y

msgbox % x = 2 ? "x = 2": "x != 2"
msgbox % y = 2 ? "y = 2": "y != 2"
return

Re: Hotstring

If you do not add certain options to the hotstrings you'll need a stop character for the script to recognize it. As posted earlier that might be a space, but it can also be a punctuation mark for example.

try this:

Code: Select all

:*:ftw::Free the whales
it will work as you were expecting

Re: Loop not working if using clipboard ... Topic is solved

If the clipboard contains a number, the loop works correctly. try: clipboard :=5 loop %Clipboard% msgbox %Clipboard% return This loops 5 times. If your code doesnt loop, something with the clipboard content must be wrong. Maybe it looks like a number, but it isnt. Try: loop % clipboard+0 Maybe this...

so snooping around I found this: OnClipboardChange("ClipChanged") return ClipChanged(Type) { ToolTip Clipboard data type: %Type% Sleep 1000 ToolTip ; Turn off the tip. } If you try that code and copy text or numbers your clipboard type is going to show "1" but as soon as you try copying from a sprea...

Re: Loop not working if using clipboard ... Topic is solved

Those types of programs save additional information on the clipboard. You can try this to test: onclipboardchange: msgbox % "this is your current var: " clipboard " and its size is " strlen(clipboard) return if you copy from a spreadsheet program, the msgbox is going to be empty and the size would s...

Re: Minimized Window

It is possible, and it is done often using GDI+. There is an AHK library of these functions: tic's GDI+ standard library . You capture a bmp of the window in question even if it's behind another window and use Gdip_GetPixel to find the color at a particular location. Correct, I should've clarified ...
