; This script writes a timestamp to every file in a folder and prompts the user for a name to add to each text tile (1 per file) #NoEnv ; capture current time timestamp := A_Now ; create the GUI Gui, Add, Text,, Name: Gui, Add, Edit, vname ym, %name% ; The ym option starts a new column of controls....

Re: Gui in a Loop

Something like this? Thank you for your reply. While I might be able to use your approach with another script, I can't do everything at once here. As I said, I need to do Part A first, then Part B second. This is what I'm trying to achieve: Loop through each file in a folder ___( ___1. Make changes...

Gui in a Loop

I've spent the last three hours reading posts on this subject and trying to find a solution, and I can't quite figure out how to make my script work. Here's what I have: ; This script writes a timestamp to every file in a folder and prompts the user for a name to add to each text tile (1 per file) ;...

Re: Downloading Content w/ Dynamically Generated Links

I guess it depends on how you parse the source. IMO, COM has a shallower learning curve than RegEx, especially if you've already got some experience with JavaScript/HTML DOM. Well, I didn't say I was using RegEx ;) RegEx makes my head hurt :) In each comic, the line number the image link appears on...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

My apologies if this has already been discussed, but, rather than work with multiple editors for different languages, I'd like to use Scite4Autohotkey for everything, especially for html. For instance, I took html.properties from the most recent Scite release and placed it in the main folder, but it...

Re: Downloading Content w/ Dynamically Generated Links

You might be able to automate IE in the background. At least you wouldn't need to use the mouse. Basic Webpage Controls with JavaScript / COM - Tutorial Thanks for the suggestion. Although I get the feeling that I'll eventually need to learn the ins and outs of COM, right now, if can get this done ...

Interesting... The image name itself is (for my purposes) patternless, but the source code around the link, from what I can see on a few strips that I've checked, has a very predictable pattern. I think we've got a winner. Thanks.

Downloading Content w/ Dynamically Generated Links

I'm attempting to build a script that will, once a day, pull comics down from a comic website. I'd really like to use UrlDownloadToFile to achieve this, but, unfortunately, because, I believe, the links are dynamically generated, I don't have a reliable address to pull from. Here's an example of what...
