Re: VBScript.Regex and highlighting text Topic is solved

Hi guys, Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions - really appreciate it! One way this could be done is to use the RegEx to get the matches in the string, then use the actual text of the matches to use Find in Word to modify those exact text strings in the document. FanaticGuru - this i...

VBScript.Regex and highlighting text Topic is solved

Hi guys, I'm trying to use vbscript.regex to highlight text in Word documents. It seems to work fine, though it doesn't highlight the text properly if there's a table in the file. Then the highlighting shifts. Does anyone know how to fix that? Thanks for the help! needleArray := [] oWord := ComObjCr...

Hi guys,

I'd like to learn from someone more experienced how to do a couple of other things. Obviously, for pasta, not peanuts. Lmk if anyone is interested.

Re: XML DOM - Find all errors with allErrors?

Ok, I'm getting little closer. At least I get 1 number of the items in the error collection retieved for now. loop, *.xml { FileRead, file, %A_LoopFileFullPath% xmlDoc := ComObjCreate("MSXML2.DOMDocument.6.0") xmlDoc.async := false if (xmlDoc.loadXML(file)) { continue ;MsgBox, No errors detected. } ...

XML DOM - Find all errors with allErrors?

Hi guys, I'm stuck with my script and I was wondering if someone could give me some advice. I regularly check XMLs using the COM object - loop, *.xml { FileRead, file, %A_LoopFileFullPath% xmlDoc := ComObjCreate("MSXML2.DOMDocument.6.0") xmlDoc.async := false xmlDoc.loadXML(file) error := xmlDoc.par...

Re: Loop - 2 arrays that share 1 index

Hi boiler, Thanks for your reply! I know that's not a real path that you showed, but have you verified that your path is correct and the array is actually being populated with file names/paths? Yes, the path is correct. No, that was the problem. Thank you very much for pointing this out. sharedIndex...

Thanks for your reply! Appreciate it. Pitty that you can use just 2 keys for a hotkey.

Hotkeys - Assign a custom combination of 3 or more keys

Hi guys, I want to assign a custom combination of 3 or more keys for my project, e.g. similar to how you can insert symbols in Word. Say, hold down ALT and then press numpad1+numpad5+numpad6 which subsequently will insert "£". ^!numpad1:: msgbox You pressed CTRL+ALT+1! return ^!numpad1 & numpad0:: m...

Re: Manipulate XML data via RegExMatch/RegExReplace

Hi TLM, This is what I have so far. Sample XML and CSV attached. I come across 2 hiccups with the new script: #1 - How do I retrieve each line from the array now? It tried to reuse the the code from previous script but I couldn't make it work. #2 - How do I loop through each title nodes in XML DOM? ...
