Get ethernet "Media State"

I need to get the "Media State" for a specific adapter as shown in Ipconfig. I know I can parse the Ipconfig output and get what I want, but I am sure there is an easier and cleaner way. I did some research and I found 2 posts that have done this. Sean has done it using a class method MIB_IFROW2 ( M...

Re: Weed Trek Computor Voice v2.0

This is a really cool script. I am using Windows 10 64 bit, 32 bit Unicode AutoHotkey and this script works just fine. Please just one suggestion. I put in a phrase and attempt to test each voice and some of the slider bars but every time it creates an MP3 and says it can not overwrite the MP3 when ...

Re: Convert DLLCall to Unicode

thanks jeeswg and just me I have some studying to do to learn DllCalls. I would prefer to keep the unicode AutoHotkey running on my computer and not switch back and forth. This would require me to learn DllCalls to fix all my scripts. Of course I could compile them and use them no matter what AutoHo...

jeeswg I looked at your suggestions and links and could not apply a fix to this one. Where does ChromeA come from?

If you are trying to work with the Chrome browser, try ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_1

Are you trying to make the Chrome window 5 wide and 10 high? That is a pretty small window.

Re: How to Loop For Specific Time

Can you explain somethings... What does your loop function do? You have an odd number of curly braces { }. It looks like a opening curly brace is missing. Which one is missing? Is it the one that should come after Loop ? How much of your code is in the "loop function" you mentioned? On your sleep, a...

Convert DLLCall to Unicode

I have a script that has over 22000 lines of code. I have always written using Ansi AutoHotkey. I had a need recently to use Unicode AutoHotkey on a different script. I noticed that ONE DllCall did not work on my Ansi script while using Unicode AutoHotkey. I am sure I can fix that 1 DllCall with a l...

Retrieve Network List

I know of 3 ways to retrieve the list of all networks that have ever been connected to. All have worked properly for a long time. (the code for all 3 methods are below) I have a user in Sweden that is reporting that after a windows update the list no longer shows his work network. His work network i...

Can Reshacker tell me if my ahk compiled executable was compiled with Unicode Autohotkey or Ansi Autohotkey?

If not, how can I find that out?

Re: (COM) Retrieve connected network name

Can you list multiple networks? I might try something like this: q:: ;test list networks vOutput := "" for INetwork in ComObjCreate("{DCB00C01-570F-4A9B-8D69-199FDBA5723B}").GetNetworks(1) try vOutput .= INetwork.GetName() "`r`n" MsgBox, % vOutput var := "" for INetwork in ComObjCreate("{DCB00C01-5...

(COM) Retrieve connected network name

This code has always returned the network name that the PC is currently connected to. For WiFi this would be the SSID, for wired connections this would be the router name. for INetwork in ComObjCreate("{DCB00C01-570F-4A9B-8D69-199FDBA5723B}").GetNetworks(1) try var := INetwork.GetName() MsgBox % var...

Re: MoveTogether()

I made some changes to my variable names and simplified the bit-operation for old_My . I added some comments and DRocks ' trick from above. I then combined two Loops, and use the bail-out return as before, to be consistent. I don't like to encase DllCall parameters in quotes any longer, I initially...

If the Metric value is always the last value of a line: Loop, Parse, Metric,`n,`r { If InString(A_LoopField, "Metric") ; the metric value is on the next line after the line that has the word Metric in it. Retrieve Interface Metric Topic is solved

The code below will retrieve the Interface metric value of the network card that I provide the Ip address for. This is exactly what I want, but I want it to be dependable. I am using a_space as the delimiter for StringSplit. There are spaces between elements but some elements have more spaces betwee...

Re: AHKCoordGrid - overlay grid of buttons to provide (a degree of) mouseless screen navigation

This is really cool. I added SpeedMasters suggestions on moving the grid before clicking. Now you can click on everything on the screen. I would like to make a couple changes, but due to time restraints at the moment I can not. Change 1...Not every keyboard has NumPadEnter. Need different hotkey to ...
