Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

I love this editor. Scintilla and SciTE are currently up to version 4.1 (June 19, 2018). SciTE4AutoHotkeywas last build in October of 2014 was based on SciTE 3.5.1. There is a patch to SciTE 3.6.0 on GitHub. Any chance we will see an upgrade to SciTE version 4.1?. Here are some of the added features...

StrLower() StrUpper() StrTitle()

I know this is an old discussion, but not having these functions is a shame. In version 1.1 StringLower and StringUpper are semantically inconsistent. Many other programming languages offer inline change of case functions. StringLower, OutputVar, InputVar [,T] and StringUpper, OutputVar, InputVar [,...

Re: Downloading v2

I have submitted a review. I know nothing about the captcha; tank and joedf manage the website and forum. If you have issues but are able to post, I would suggest posting in the Forum Issues subforum. Lexikos, 1. Google Safe Browsing states that the autohotkey.com Webmaster should be receiving emai...

Re: Downloading v2

Maybe it would help if a certain number of people reported these links as false positive with the following site: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_error/ In addition, https://autohotkey.com/download/ahk-v2.zip could be reported to inform indirectly that future releases will also ...

Re: Google is blocking autohotkey.com

Here is the response from the StopBadware Team: "Jul 10 (4 days ago) Hi there, It looks like Google is specifically blacklisting your downloads. Unfortunately, StopBadware does not work with Google on blacklisted downloads. We have no expertise in evaluating software, and we are unable to effectivel...

Re: Google is blocking autohotkey.com

1. Using firefox I screened https://autohotkey.com/download/1.1/ and every file I checked was passed by GSB. 1a. I checked all of the Ahk2Exe...zip files, plus all of the AutoHotkey112207..., ...112300..., ...112400..., ...1.1.25.00..., ...1.1.26.00..., ...1.1.27.00..., ...1.1.28.00..., ...1.1.29.00...

Re: Google is blocking autohotkey.com

The issue here is the Google Safe Browsing (GSB) browing engine(s) or algorhythm. I checked multiple files labeled by GSB as "infected" against scans done by virustotal.com. IN EVERY CASE, almost all of the 55+ engines used to test the files said the files were CLEAN. In addition everyone of the maj...

Re: Google is blocking autohotkey.com

Thanks tank,

Whatever you did worked. The "Security" blocks that were preventing easy access to the version 1.0 and 2.0 download sites are gone from both Chrome and from Firefox.

Google is blocking autohotkey.com

Google is blocking access to autohotkey.com. Linking to the download page for version 1.0 (https://autohotkey.com/download/1.0) and linking to the download page for version 2.0 (https://autohotkey.com/download/2.0/) using Chrome generates a Security error tab that labels the page as Dangerous and di...

Inconsistent GuiControlGet, OutputVariable, Focus/FocusV results between in-line and button calls to the same code.

I RAN INTO AN ISSUE USING GuiControl, OutputVar, Focus AND GuiControl, OutputVar, FocusV AND CAN NOT FIND AN EXPLANATION FOR THE INCONSISTENT PERFORMANCE IN THE AHK DOCUMENTATION OR IN THE AHK FORUMS. I was able to find a work around after multiple trials and multiple errors. Now I have a "fix" but ...

Build GUI from Array

I often need to build simple GUIs that consist primarily of an array of controls. I often need to dynamically change these GUIs based upon monitor size and configuration. I was unable to find any examples to guide me through this. Here is a SIMPLE example where pushing a Button will move the text in...

Re: Suggestions on documentation improvements

Using GuiControl with HWND as the ControlID is not adequately documented. This is a variant usage of HWND compared to the other GUI Control functions. When using HWND as the ControlID - ONLY - the HWND value is used as the ControlID. Because this is a variant, there should be an example in the AHK w...
