Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

Any chance SciTE4AutoHotkey will be upgraded to the current version of SciTE/Scintilla? The last official release of SciTE4AutoHotkey was version v3.0.06.01. It is almost 5 years old. It was released in October of 2014 and is based on SciTE/Scintilla 3.5.1. https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopi...

Access object.property values and object.property names as parameter lists.

By adding two simple Method() functions to an object or to a class you can access an object's property values and its property names as parameter lists. Typing out long lists of object.property references is time consuming, messy, and hard to proof read. These issues are compounded as object structu...

Re: Format() variadic calls not working

Thanks for your help. I should have read closer. I'm still getting used to initial examples that require extra knowledge and don't show an output.

Please allow searching by function()

I am currently looking for references to "Format()" and "variadic". The search returns over 350 "matches". Very few of those "matches" include Format(). There is no current method to omit the hundreds of extraneous references when searching for a specific AHK function. Many AHK functions use common ...

Format() variadic calls not working

I tried to to use a variadic reference with Format(). When it failed I tried the example from format(). It also does not work. I am using version 1.1.30.3

arr := [13, 240]
MsgBox % Format("{2:x}{1:02x}", arr*)

Result:

GUI() function replaces GUI command line.

GUI() FUNCTION: I needed a way to dynamically change several GUIs. I wanted to make the changes programmatically (or through user input). An efficient way to accomplish this was to replace the GUI statement with the variadic function GUI(). I can now programmatically build (or specify) a list of GU...

Re: SciTE4AutoHotkey v3.0.06.01 [Updated October 12 2014]

I love this editor. Scintilla and SciTE are currently up to version 4.1 (June 19, 2018). SciTE4AutoHotkeywas last build in October of 2014 was based on SciTE 3.5.1. There is a patch to SciTE 3.6.0 on GitHub. Any chance we will see an upgrade to SciTE version 4.1?. Here are some of the added features...

StrLower() StrUpper() StrTitle()

I know this is an old discussion, but not having these functions is a shame. In version 1.1 StringLower and StringUpper are semantically inconsistent. Many other programming languages offer inline change of case functions. StringLower, OutputVar, InputVar [,T] and StringUpper, OutputVar, InputVar [,...

I have submitted a review. I know nothing about the captcha; tank and joedf manage the website and forum. If you have issues but are able to post, I would suggest posting in the Forum Issues subforum. Lexikos, 1. Google Safe Browsing states that the autohotkey.com Webmaster should be receiving emai...

Maybe it would help if a certain number of people reported these links as false positive with the following site: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_error/ In addition, https://autohotkey.com/download/ahk-v2.zip could be reported to inform indirectly that future releases will also ...

Here is the response from the StopBadware Team: "Jul 10 (4 days ago) Hi there, It looks like Google is specifically blacklisting your downloads. Unfortunately, StopBadware does not work with Google on blacklisted downloads. We have no expertise in evaluating software, and we are unable to effectivel...

Re: Google is blocking autohotkey.com

The issue here is the Google Safe Browsing (GSB) browing engine(s) or algorhythm. I checked multiple files labeled by GSB as "infected" against scans done by virustotal.com. IN EVERY CASE, almost all of the 55+ engines used to test the files said the files were CLEAN. In addition everyone of the maj...

Thanks tank,

Whatever you did worked. The "Security" blocks that were preventing easy access to the version 1.0 and 2.0 download sites are gone from both Chrome and from Firefox.

Google is blocking autohotkey.com

Google is blocking access to autohotkey.com. Linking to the download page for version 1.0 (https://autohotkey.com/download/1.0) and linking to the download page for version 2.0 (https://autohotkey.com/download/2.0/) using Chrome generates a Security error tab that labels the page as Dangerous and di...

I RAN INTO AN ISSUE USING GuiControl, OutputVar, Focus AND GuiControl, OutputVar, FocusV AND CAN NOT FIND AN EXPLANATION FOR THE INCONSISTENT PERFORMANCE IN THE AHK DOCUMENTATION OR IN THE AHK FORUMS.
