Your welcome. Lxiko has done a great job in producing that collection, and has been at it for quite a while. I do think it would be good to bring more awareness of it.

Re: LCC() : Generate/Test machine code with lcc-win, Quick and easy.

I use Pelles C which was based on LCC, so didn't bother to read license properly. My mistake. :( Regarding GCC, the objdump provided in the bundle is much slower than podump.exe of Pelles C or pedump.exe of LCC. Also, GCC installation takes about 450 Mb, LCC about 100 Mb and Pelles C about 50 Mb. O...

Re: Advancement status of standard library / package index?

How's going on advancement status of standard library / package index? ( or is there a push in the works? ) remember seeing a package manager tool of AutoHotkey years ago, the number of packages included at that time was still relatively small, and now I cannot find it. I think you are referring to...

Re: LCC() : Generate/Test machine code with lcc-win, Quick and easy.

SKAN has done it again, and I think this MCode generating function is really cool. However, I'm not sure about using LCC over GCC. LCC appears to have strange terms for a compiler, where it can't be used professionally. They are not talking about just the compiler, but anything the compiler outputs....

It’s not even performing a search, and it won’t until the issue causing the ErrorLevel of 2 is resolved. You are correct. Re: Process Private Memory Usage Topic is solved

Is there any way to empty the Private Memory? You might want to look at this thread: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/30042-run-ahk-scripts-with-less-half-or-even-less-memory-usage/ (Run AHK scripts with less (half or even less) memory usage) EmptyMem(PIDtoEmpty) { h:=DllCall("OpenProcess", "UInt...

Re: Image Search on other computers Topic is solved

ImageSearch, Loc_X, Loc_Y, 439 + WinX, 54 + WinY, 477 + WinX, 87 + WinY, *20 xhere.png Roger, I see that you use the 1st suggestion, but have you attempted to loosen up on variation even further? Because *20 works on your computer, doesn't mean it will be the same number on your friend's computer. ...

Re: Image Search on other computers Topic is solved

Two things that might help: 1) Adjust the variation settings, *n (variation) https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/ImageSearch.htm This allows you to be more strict or lenient about color variations. By loosening the range, you can be more likely to find a match. However, do it too much, and then...

Re: Execute part of the script on the server

Do you propose to transfer part of the script functions from server after passing the verification? For example, as a "response" from the server, and a script to catch the function through "WinHTTPRequest ResponseText"? In regards to adding functions, for the AutoHotkey language, it would probably ...

Re: Execute part of the script on the server

I understand you are trying to protect the source. Perhaps users can login with user account credentials, and then the network connection can be authenticated, then the functions hosted on the server can be downloaded after authentication? I agree with you that this is a viable method. However, the...

Re: Execute part of the script on the server

There is ahk script. I took its functions into a separate file and connect it via #include. Is it possible to transfer these functions to the server (hosting), and leave the script itself on the computer? It turns out that the script pulls them from the server, like a client-server architecture. Or...

Re: NOOB guide on how to use H ? Topic is solved

Read in v2 docs about the methods you can use with HotKeyIt, I think a bit of confusion is caused by information being in the AutoHotkey_H v2.chm, when many users are using AutoHotkey_H v1 and coming from AutoHotkey_L v1. In addition, AutoHotkey_L v2 is still an experimental alpha (from which AutoH...

Hello, So i've been trying to make a script to wait to if statemant to be true, then do the loop, finish this loop and proceed to the next if statement, if it is true then do the loop, and if the second loop is finished, Shutdown the PC. Looking at your original code, you only needed to mod...

For example this topic https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=83224 Ahk does not have bluetooth wrapper. Therefore Topicstarter has 3 choices. 1) Read msdn, count sizes of structures and write wrapper by himself 2) Use imagesearch popular solution of any problem :) 3) use python lib...

Re: What do you use AHK for?

On python You dont need to read and understand all of that stuff - just use it. OpenCV was made with C++. Consequently, any advanced user or group of users can make a wrapper for it. Python users making a wrapper for a C++ library is not something so special that it can't be done in other languages...

Re: What do you use AHK for?

It is not versus me and You. Also it is not versus Ahk vs Python. I mean that AHK does not have much API wrappers, or even if it has it - there are no examples of using it. For example Direct2D, Direct3D, OpenCV, Microsoft Media Foundation and a lot of others API it does not have. But python has. T...

Re: What do you use AHK for?

One of the great strengths of AutoHotkey, is that it can be used to generate simple or complicated code If You need to make something serious and complex, but ahk has no wrapper for that API and You have no much time then I suggest to use python, because it has a lot of ready libraries. Autohotkey ...

Re: How to effectively learn AutoHotKey?

I've been "playing" around with AutoHotKey since 2007. However, I've just learned the mainstream uses of it: hotkeys and hotstrings. Through examples, I was also able to learn other functions, such as FileRead, simple Loops, FormatTime, WinWait, contextual hotkeys and hotstrings and others, but wit...
