Re: Excel COM and last row

It's a little annoying that I have to open a file. My file is already opened because it's password protected. I will try to manage something with this. Thanks again. Then put the password in the open command: oWB := oXL.Workbooks.Open("test book 01.xlsx", , , , "Password", "WriteResPassword", , , ,...

Re: Excel COM and last row

Take line 13 out. Also You haven't got a workbook associated with the Excel object. I am not 100% sure how to interact with a already open active workbook, but: oWB := oXL.Workbooks.Open("test book 01.xlsx", , , , , , , , , , , , TRUE) ; Add to MRU is TRUE ; change test book 01.xlsx to the location ...

Re: Excel COM and last row

To just select the 1st sheet use:

Code: Select all

DataRange := FindDataRange(oXL, 1) ; 1 = 1st sheet in workbook

Re: different types of pressing a single button

http://ahkscript.org/docs/Hotkeys.htm#Symbols $ This is usually only necessary if the script uses the Send command to send the keys that comprise the hotkey itself, which might otherwise cause it to trigger itself. The $ prefix forces the keyboard hook to be used to implement this hotkey, which as a...

Re: different types of pressing a single button

As as far as I can tell, the Send, a is triggering the hotkey itself and getting stuck in a infinite loop.

I am not sure if it is the right way to go about this, but you could change it to the bellow:

Code: Select all

$a::
WinGetTitle, Title, A
	if Title="___"
	{
		Send, q
	}
	else
	{
		Send, a
	}
return

Re: Excel COM and last row

I personally found that the following wasn't finding the last row & column properly: LastRow := xlObject.Sheets(SheetName).UsedRange.rows.count LastCol := xlObject.Sheets(SheetName).UsedRange.columns.count so I made this function to find it more accurately: oXL := ComObjCreate("Excel.Application") o...

Re: Loop/Toggle with Timer

Maybe also add something like:

Code: Select all

if(GetKeyState("Esc") == 1) {
	MsgBox, 8196, Cancel/Stop, Are you sure you want to stop the current process?
		IfMsgBox Yes
			break
}
so that the loop can be stopped.

Re: Forum changes, requests and features

I notice there is a BBcode tag in the wysiwyg editor. Either I can't figure out how it works or it doesn't work.

Would someone be able to enlighten me?

Re: Data Types & ComObjArray

Oh FFS, ignore my stupidity.

It was just a syntax problem :(

Code: Select all

TableArray := [["1.A","1.B","1.C","1.D"],["2.A","2.B","2.C","2.D","2.E"],["3.A","3.B","3.C"],["4.A","4.B","4.C","4.D"]]
and

Code: Select all

VT_VARIANT:=12
works fine :)
