Re: need help for gaming question

My guess is that you are sending the keys too fast as games take a while to register that you are pressing a key. You do not press a key at near instantaneous speeds so your program needs to do the same.

Code: Select all

~::
send, {a down}
sleep, 75
send {a up}
return

warning!! - rant on. This is not aimed at anyone, but rather at society as a whole, if it makes you think, it was worth my time writing. I am in evilC's corner here, well kinda. There is a very fine line between legitimate needs and lazy needs. Most people are lazy and unwilling to make and effort, ...

us vs eu keyboard maybe?

Try putting it on your clipboard and pasting it. I have found that to be much faster, especially with larger blocks of text.

Re: ImageSearch not reliable (Diablo 3)

My immediate thought is that there may be shadows passing over and behind the image. This is what makes games pretty to the eye. You can try work around that by including a variation on the color. Someone built a function that gets the average color for an area and you might be able to use that but ...

It is possible, you want to be looking at their API. https://cryptowat.ch/docs/api It looks like they have a limit on the number of requests that you can make per hour based on the amount of data returned Oh, ok, here is another hint: I believe you are looking for this, follow the link to see what y...

Re: Modify a variable while the script is running

You can do something like this:

untested

Code: Select all

F1::
Slp := 1000
Loop, 9999
{
Send {Left down}	;  \
	Sleep, 500		;   these three lines = Lx500
Send {Left up}		;  /
	Sleep, Slp
}
Return

f2::
slp := slp - 50
return

f3::
slp := slp + 50
return

Re: Problem with the speed of mapping Topic is solved

Games need a bit of time to register that a key is being pressed and AHK sends them too fast by default. You need to build a delay in between the down action and the up action. Look at Setkeydelay. Or you can use a sleep between a down send and the up send like this: f1:: send, {w down} sleep, 50 se...

Re: Need help with script

I had a few minutes, I am sure that it can be done much better. Your code has no logic (decision making ) to it https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/IfEqual.htm Here is some basic logic added for you. UNTESTED - will not work until you have added the 2 bmp files needed and changed the click co-ordin...

Re: PixelSearch not clicking on the detected color

You can use an offset on the click. So if you found px at 300 and py at 500 and you want to click to the right and a little down add 5 to px and 2 to py. so: PX := PX + 5 Py := PY + 2 Send it the new numbers of PX (305) and PY (502) to click. So something like this: UNTESTED ^!z:: ; Control+Alt+Z ho...

Re: Need help with script

I would pick a color on the left some place, like the goal post, something that is going to have a popup obscure when you have found something. UNTESTED - you will need to change the co-ordinates, I just picked them out the sky. You also might want to reduce the 5 second load time f1:: loop { pixelg...

You say you have the location of one of them, can you not make and image of the known location and then search for that, excluding the known area from your search.

This will work with a spreadsheet that is open and active. Xl := ComObjActive("Excel.Application") ;creates a handle to your currently active excel sheet cellvalue1 := Xl.Range("c2").Value ;sets your variable to the value of cell c2 cellvalue2 := Xl.Range("c3").Value ;sets your variable to the value...

Re: Script to Find and Click Certain Buttons Inside a Game

That is an interesting problem. I can only think of 2 scenarios off the top of my head, (1) the image has some sort of shadow that is moving over it, effectively changing the color and a larger variation will solve that. (2) is that the image that you are looking for is extending outside your search...

Re: Script to Find and Click Certain Buttons Inside a Game

Could be that it was just me and my imagination but I seem to recall a silly error that I got at some point. It had to do with how I went about creating the image that was being looked for. iirc I took a screenshot and pasted it into paint, then cropped what I wanted. Here was my problem (I think - ...
