Re: Rewrite AddGraphicButton to accept PNG files Topic is solved

Amazing, I did not know that it was this (If you have the code) simple :bravo: teadrinker : Many thanks! I tried to search this in the Autohotkey Help, but could not find it. This would be a good example to add to the Gui section of the Autohotkey help, images on the buttons make the Gui more userfr...

Rewrite AddGraphicButton to accept PNG files Topic is solved

I found a quite usefull function on the forum to add a image to a gui button. https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/3816-graphic-buttons/ However, as far as i could test it, it only works on icon and bmp files. Is it possible to rewrite it so it would also accept PNG files (or an other image with trans...

AHK-Studio - Fix for gui.xml error

AHK-Studio is amazing, a very usefull editor. I encountered just one problem, when starting AHK Studio, sometimes gui.xml was corrupted and needed to be replaced by a backup file. The fix for this was pointed out by Joe Glines and Meastrid, in one of the videos of Joe Glines. The following script wi...

Re: Suggestions on documentation improvements

Suggestion: Add the following example in the Menu Syntax, to show how to access a function with parameters: This makes the menu a lot more flexible. ; Bind parameters to the function and returns a BoundFunc object. BoundGivePar := Func("GivePar").Bind("First", "Test one") BoundGivePar2 := Func("Give...

Re: QuickLinks (Menu by folder)

New update, I fixed the problem of not allowing subfolders with the same name.

One thing I am still wondering, would it be possible to remove the Run(a) function and directy create a Boundobject with the standard Run function?

Re: QuickLinks (Menu by folder)

Very cool! I think this can be useful. One thing I noticed though, is that I would want to be able to pass an input parameter (the folder for which to create a menu) and return the menu name as an output of that function. That way, the QL_Show can be called using that parameter (right now, the menu...

Re: Using AHK with Creo or Pro/ENGINEER

You can use the trail files to control Creo: - Exicute a simple action and copy each time the trail file commands to your script to build a trail library. - Make a mapkey to play a trail file from your computer. - Use AHK to write the trail file based on your library. - Let AHk fire the mapkey. - Th...

Re: Understanding BoundFunc Object Topic is solved

@swagfag: Thanks a lot. Below an example of calling a function (if no label with the same name exists). Interesting to know, but because you cannot pass variables, It acts the same as a label. Menu MyMenu, Add, Give parameters, GivePar Menu MyMenu, Show GivePar(ItemName, MenuName, ItemPos) { MsgBox,...

QuickLinks (Menu by folder)

This code is my second adaptation of QuickLinks.ahk, by Jack Dunning. http://www.computoredge.com/AutoHotkey/AutoHotkey_Quicklinks_Menu_App.html It is a usefull script, it takes a directory and uses it to make a menu of shortcuts. This makes it easy to add and remove links in the menu, just change t...

Understanding BoundFunc Object Topic is solved

I have trouble understanding the BoundFunc Object. I try to call a BoundFunc Object with a menu but it does not work. In my scripts I use a lot of menu's, It would be helpfull to call directly a function with parameters instead of using a label in combination with global variables. Is it possible to...

Are you looking in the correct folder?
Add the following code:

"Folder in use, action can't be completed because folder or file is open or in use"

I'm getting this error when the program reaches the above line. Selenium folder is not open anywhere.
Maybe selenium is running?
Try to close it before running the script.

Re: Gui in a class

Great example, Lexicos! The only confusing part of the example is that the name of the gui and the name of the classname are the same. It confused me when changing +Label option: so +LabelDialog refers to +Label%ClassName%.static_ class GuiBuilder { __New(Question) { Gui, New, +hwndhGui +Label GuiBu...

Thanks for pointing that out :) Actually, even the myClose function was not called... Great examples, It helped me a lot. Below is another nice example of a class gui. The purpose is to have a Gui is a class that when typing in Control Edit_1, it copies the value of Edit_1 to Edit_3. Re: how to fast imageserch? Topic is solved

One point is still missing to improve the speed. If you search the same image multiple times, you can pre-load the image to a hBitmap to make imageSearch faster. This can give you a few extra msec. This relative speed improvement is larger when the search area is small. Important: do not forget to u...
