Send keys to YouTube window which is playing music/video

Hi everyone Just sitting around here tonight, conjuring up some ideas on what sort of code to tackle next. Let's say we have multiple Google Chrome windows (not tabs) open, and a few of them are on Youtube. One of them is playing a video. The rest of them are also on videos, but are not playing righ...

Re: Add multiple entries to same .ini file category?

woohoo, thanks mikeyww. This is working now. I'm trying a few different things here so I might be building on it.. I might be back again looking for more advice on this one. Thanks again :)

Re: Add multiple entries to same .ini file category?

yes it does help, thank-you. Here's what I did to make it happen: increment=1 ;this is the very first line in the entire code execute: (this is the g-label for a button which was assigned earlier in the script) iniwrite, %title%, C:\MyInfiFile.ini, INFO, title iniwrite, %clipboard%, C:\MyInfiFile.in...

Add multiple entries to same .ini file category?

Hi again :) This is kind of a little follow up to yesterday's question where I was trying to fileappend with multiple line breaks. I'm trying a little bit of a different approach here, and going with an .ini file to see how it works out. Here's my sample code: iniwrite, %title%, C:\MyInfiFile.ini, I...

Re: HotVoice - Speech Recognition + Volume detection for AHK (C# DLL)

Agreed. I use Dragon Naturally as well and yes, it is a huge program with way too many features I never use. I just wanted a small, portable voice recognition software where I can speak quick commands. Hotvoice is perfect. I also have a couple of other AHK voice recognition scripts which are good as...

Re: Linebreak not working

TAC109 , thanks!!

This actually works - Notepad now shows the text with the line breaks properly. Strange how that works. Haven't seen that problem before.

Thanks to everyone who took a look at this. It was totally baffling to me, I thought maybe it was a bug or something.

Re: Linebreak not working

yes sorry, I looked at the page. But it's a little beyond my level of knowledge lol

I pasted the %title% and then was a little lost as to what it was doing :(

Re: Linebreak not working

Yes, I'm still on Windows7 64-bit. My motherboard is an older one and I don't think it supports Windows 10, so I'm in for a big headache when it comes time to update my system :(

Re: Linebreak not working

does that mean that
mypicture-Recovered-Recovered.psd @ 30.5% (Color, RGB/8) *

contains invisible characters that Notepad cannot see, resulting in the `n linefeed to fail?

Re: Linebreak not working

edit - thanks guys!! Looks like it's working now. But here's the issue: I was viewing the output file in Notepad. And it shows everything written on one line. But if I view the output file in Notepad++, it shows it on several lines. Which is very confusing. i tried Notepad with Wordwrap both on and ...

Re: Linebreak not working

hmmm, I think the problem is indeed with the %title% portion. Here's a little more of what I was doing: wingettitle, title, A out = C:\MyTextFile.txt FileRecycle, %out% fileappend, DOCUMENT NAME:`n%title%`nBRUSHES USED:`n%clipboard%, %out% FileRead, ttext, %out% MsgBox,, Results, %ttext% and this st...

Re: Linebreak not working

thanks mikeyww

a sample of %title% would be:
mypicture-Recovered-Recovered.psd @ 30.5% (Color, RGB/8) *

and a sample of %clipboard% would be:
Texture - Grain

are these samples somehow throwing it off?

Linebreak not working

Hi everyone! I'm out of ideas... why is this line of code not working? It should be writing the data on seperate lines (because of the `n linebreak) but it's writing everything on one line. What's wrong here? Thanks.. fileappend, `nDOCUMENT NAME:`n%title%`nBRUSHES USED:`n%clipboard%, C:\MyTextFile.t...

Re: HotVoice - Speech Recognition + Volume detection for AHK (C# DLL)

SUCCESS This might make me look stupid (lol), but somehow I was running the 32-bit version of AHK. That was the only problem here. Soon as I upgraded to the 64-bit, it worked right away. So yes, I can confirm this works on Windows 7, but it must be the 64-bit version of AHK. I've tried a few differe...

Re: Reverse Sort Listview?

After searching the forums, a workable approach is indeed to reverse-read the text file in order to have the bottom line appear at the top of the listview: targetFile = C:\MyFile.txt lineCount := Loop, { FileReadLine, nullVar, %targetFile%, %A_Index% if ErrorLevel break lineCount := A_Index } Loop, ...

Re: Reverse Sort Listview?

thanks Jim! whoops, edit - "SortDesc" just alphabetially reverses the list, so Z would be at the top of the list. I was hoping to first load in the listview (which is loaded from a randomly-sorted, non-alphabeticalized text file), and then when the list is loaded, just reverse its order so the botto...

Reverse Sort Listview?

Hi everyone I'm using this line in my code, and it sorts the listview alphabetically - but this isn't what I'm looking to do. What do I have to change here in order to sort the listview in reverse-order? (bottom line of listview will appear at top).. I can't find the proper info or syntax in the doc...

Re: HotVoice - Speech Recognition + Volume detection for AHK (C# DLL)

I thought HotVoice wasn't working on my system because I'm running Windows 7. So I installed it on my Windows 10 laptop... and wouldn't you know it, exact same error: Hotvoice.dll failed to load....

still baffled by this, I don't know how everyone else got this to work :(
