Re: Child gui is always behind Parent gui Topic is solved

I found the fix. The problem was caused by an image on the parent gui. My structure was: + ParentGui with backgroundImage + ChildGui with controls To fix the problem I simply added another child gui between them: + ParentGui + ChildGui with backgroundImage + ChildGui with controls That sounds a lot...

Re: Child gui is always behind Parent gui Topic is solved

My parent gui will have more controls than a simple picture I can't find one to do the whole gui, you can cycle through your controls #SingleInstance, Force #NoEnv SetBatchLines, -1 SetControlDelay,-1 Hwnds := [] Gui, background:New, +hw...

Re: Child gui is always behind Parent gui Topic is solved

That's a good workaround, is there any way to set the redraw option for the entire gui? My parent gui will have more controls than a simple picture I was thinking winset, but I didn't bother to look it up. Here replace the code in the f4 hotkey with this gui, child:show, Gui, child:+LastFound WinSe...

Re: Child gui is always behind Parent gui Topic is solved

That works BUT if I submit the child gui and then show it again, the child gui will be behind the parent again. This does that for me. Give it a try. Gui, background:New, +hwndhParent -caption Gui, child: New, +Parentbackground +HWNDhChild1 -0x80000000 +0x40000000 +E0x00010000 Gui, child: Add, Pict...

Re: Child gui is always behind Parent gui Topic is solved

If having the child window show transparency is something you want, you may want to consider using a Layered Window. Similar to this, but yours would only require 1 layered window whereas this one uses 3. ;*********************************************************************************************...

Re: Child gui is always behind Parent gui Topic is solved

If you want the reversed result, why not reverse the parent/child relationship? Disclaimer, I don't even remember what is parent/child relation. Cheers. Because that won't behave as expected. I need the parent gui to be the parent and the child to be the child. This parent gui will have a lot of ch...

Re: Translating c++ RSA encryption example to AHK

i havent looked into the functions but I don't know how to declare an unsigned char array like in c++ unsigned char PublicKey[PublicKeySize] = { 0x52,...} so when I pass that array to the function it is wrong. VarSetCapacity(PublicKey, sizeInBytes) NumPut(0x52, PublicKey, 0, "UChar") NumPut(0x53, P...

Re: Is there any way to embed a CMD / Console in a GUI?

Hi, your example gave me an idea. But now I found another problem haha. https://i.gyazo.com/acabeff957a2c924d1610c9a7a2b58b5.gif When I use setParent the child window (cmd) will go behind the parent and I can't bring it back with winActivate nor with winSet, Top @edit: Using WinMove to resize the wi...

Re: Display resizable website in resizable GUI (using chrome- or Firefox Browser) Topic is solved

The problem is that you use an specific width and height for the ActiveX control. You can hook the resize message using onMessage to use a function that resizes the control according to the new gui size. Thanks kyuuuri , would you have an example of that. I don't seem to be smart enough to understa...

Hello, I don't understand your code. I read it like 10 times and still don't see about the DOS window being embedded into the GUI

Re: Randoms

Hello, remember to use code tags to show your code.

You can use:
keys := [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8]

and inside the loop you can do a random that goes from 1 to keys' max index:

Code: Select all

random, rand, 1, % keys.maxIndex()
send % keys[rand]
That will "pick" a random element from the array keys and send it.
