Re: [Game] Tetris Windows 7+

@maestrith - Thanks. A humungous improvement. Rather primary colors, but, they are perfect considering the simplicity of the game. If I dare say, I would like to suggest some other changes. It's been decades since I played tetris on an ancient nintendo box. I don't remember the ghost square, but I l...

Re: [Game] Tetris Windows 7+

@iPhilip - Thanks. I didn't mean to be disrespectful. I thought you meant I could drop your code into Tetris. I'm sure I can figure out what you're doing and can figure out revising tetris on my own even though it is very complicated, what with so many objects and such I know little about. But, cons...

Re: [Game] Tetris Windows 7+

@iPhilip - what does your code have to do with Tetris? And, what does it do? The variables you define aren't used in the Tetris script.

Re: WINGET return values for non-existing windows

Thanks Ragnar. Like I said: "I believe this statement....". I was not absolutely certain; however, it was clear there is a problem.

Please note:

It also APPEARS that WINGETCLASS and WINGETTITLE also suffer the same deficiency.

WINGET return values for non-existing windows

All the subcommands of the WINGET command accept a window specification. For some of the winget subcommands, the following is stated: If there is no matching window, OutputVar is made blank. I believe this statement applies to ALL the subcommands of WINGET. This would also make me feel the statement...

@lexicos:

To say that a problem is by design, but not point to documentation about it seems to indicate the documentation is lacking.

Re: System Error Codes documentation

I didn't search from on the microsoft website. I searched for "site:www.microsoft.com" & "system error codes". I misinterpretted the doc. Thanks Gregster. However, one could argue the subtle difference between "search from this website" and "search this website for...". In the latter case, the searc...

System Error Codes documentation

At documentation for RUN, under UseErrorLevel, is found Each number corresponds to a specific error condition (to get a list, search www.microsoft.com¬ for "system error codes"). This search will not find the desired information. The correct search should be docs.microsoft.com "system error codes"

Re: Mouse operations intermitently use wrong monitor on multimonitor Windows 7 computer

1. what is DisplayFusion?

2. what is the code you run?

3. Bugs that are not reliably and easily reproducible are VERY difficult to understand or fix. And, if it only occurs when using DisplayFusion--whatever that is--then it is probably not AHK.

Tried the "remote desktop connection" example on Windows 7 Pro, AHK 1.1.32. The effect is not seen there.

Re: Curious bug, pc hibernates after mouse wheel scroll

Followed your link to github. I couldn't find the script there. And,if all that is there is a compiled script (which I also did not find), no one in this forum can help you. The last thing I would ever do is run someone else's compiled script.

OnMessage() - Maxthreads parameter

OnMessage(), at the definition of the Maxthreads parameters, says: [v1.1.20+]: Specify 0 to unregister a previously registered function. If Function is a string, the "legacy" monitor is removed. Otherwise, only the given function object is unregistered. Further down in the topic--way beyond the para...

Label, definition of

A hotkey is a label. While the LABELs help section does not state so EXPLICITLY, it does put it thusly: Hotkey and hotstring labels are also valid targets for Goto, Gosub and other commands. Before that Label says: A label identifies a line of code, and can be used as a Goto target or to form a subr...

Re: Issue with Label names and hotkeys

@Scripter : Here is a solution, rather simple for your problem. Add an "*" to the Hotkey label.
AHK considers the label for a hotkey everything other than the trailing "::".

*F1::
MsgBox, Hotkey F1 was pressed.
return

F1:
MsgBox, Label F1 was executed.
return

F2::
GoSub F1
return

Re: Issue with Label names and hotkeys

I see that the LABELS help section defines Hotkeys as labels, as Gregster pointed out. However, the general section on Hotkeys does not SPECIFICALLY state a hotkey is a label. It does,however, imply it, by mentioning that the string is a label. This brings to light a documentation issue (as does alm...

@rohwedder - you didn't read my post. I say what errorlevel is returned by the user's command. It is 1. I say "...when the SAMPLE pixelsearch fails ..."
