All it is:

F12::
Run C:\script.vbs
return


Works perfectly with explorer running (as in actual windows explorer shell), but with it closed it doesn't function. If I restart explorer it works again.

Hi, I've got a very simple script to run a vbs script when the F12 key is pressed. It works fine when testing once explorer is open - but if I closed explorer the hotkey no longer works. Thanks for that - doesn't quite seem to work though. It will return 2 with both displays powered on, and 1 with only 1 display powered on. But with both displays powered off it still returns 1.

Hi, I'd like to use AHK to control my Philips Hue Lights and have it execute a script which turns off (or dims) the lights if the monitor is turned off, or if the display is sent to standby (the computer does not enter standby).
