Possible simplify to a single expression a series of "ControlClick" commands? Topic is solved

Hi, I'd appreciate your help. The same text box changes its control class name depending on the way the interface is arranged. I managed to match through several script lines all possible names that control class can be assigned. Then I wrote down the script: #IfWinActive, ahk_exe App.exe ^+c:: Cont...

Any advantage using "{LControl Down}{a}{LControl Up}{Delete}" instead of directly "^a{Delete}"?

Hi,

Is there any advantage/disadvantage about using these different notations that delivery the same output?

Direct:
Send, ^a{Delete}

versus

Using state of the key (down/up):
Send, {LControl Down}{a}{LControl Up}{Delete}

Thank you!

Re: Is there a script that would paste formatted/clickable list of URL links into MS Word? Topic is solved

Hi flyingDman and haichen , Many thanks for the scripts! Both solutions are working perfectly to paste and parse multiple URLs as active links. A last point I'd appreciate your further help: The very first script that parsed every content as links made files paths also active, clickable. After the i...

Re: How to simplify the repetition of content in a script having "IfWinActive" "else" syntax? Topic is solved

Hi boiler , Many thanks for the teachings! Script tested and working. It became so simple now. The following questions are secondary: a) Actually, since there is not explicit "else" in the script anymore, I'm trying to understand how the implicit "else" works. I mean, if I run the script from other ...

Re: Is there a script that would paste formatted/clickable list of URL links into MS Word? Topic is solved

Hi, Many thanks for sharing the script flyingDman . Exactly what I was looking for. There is a further aspect I'd like to ask, if it is possible to refine the script, regarding creating the links only for the lines that have URL format, when the clipboard has multiple lines of text and URLs. Current...

Is there a script that would paste formatted/clickable list of URL links into MS Word? Topic is solved

Hi, I'd appreciate your help. When I paste plain text URLs into MS Word, they are pasted by default as plain text (not clickable). If I want MS Word to format/parse the URL as a link (blue color, underlined, and actionable by clicking) I need to press manually "enter" key after every URL's line. And...

On Evernote Desktop, shortcuts with ALT work intermittently. Any trick to make them to work continuously/always?

Hi, I'd appreciate your help. I remapped some Evernote's shortcuts, as shown in the code below. However, 3 out of 10, they don't work. I guessed the problem could be related to the general top menu being activated by pressing ALT. Then I tried a workaround adding "Send, {Alt Up}". It improved a bit ...
