Re: tab characters converting to spaces in codebox

Yes, although that will probably want to be verified by other Edge users just in case this system is borked. :)

Re: 500 on Right Searchbar Below User Buttons

Last night, ... and now on Edge. Opened a new window with F12 tools and it worked: here is the console: HTML1300: Navigation occurred. search.php HTTP404: NOT FOUND - The server has not found anything matching the requested URI (Uniform Resource Identifier). (XHR)GET - https://autohotkey.com/boards/...

Re: Notepad++ Colours

Yes, thanks, it's all functioning except it's too dark- do you have AHK language in Preferences/Language Menu list?
There are a couple of subscribers on your thread with a similar issue, as do here.
Tried playing around with stuff here, nogo.
Anyway, it's a N++ feature just requested. :)

Notepad++ Colours

For some reason cannot get any of the user defined languages (including AHK) to appear in the style configurator languages box. The colours are a little dark- if anyone knows a trick please post. :sick:

500 on Right Searchbar Below User Buttons

Get this consistently:
HTTP 500 error
That’s odd… the website can’t display this page
The site may be undergoing maintenance or could have a programming error
The other search functions are fine.

Either way, editing old posts can be used to fix this if this is the case.
Definitely a problem with Edge. Even Internet Explorer works. Very unusual.

Re: ahkscript.org forum seems extremely slow

Lost a post when submitting through MS Edge Hmmm, we can't reach this page . Have an old modem and it is very strict. :( Pages can be slow when performing button actions, simple refreshes or click on linked pages seem a little faster. Smileys and the like can take some time to show once the page loa...

Re: Classes in AHK, a Dissection (Advanced)

If there were, they would be empty and do nothing. Meta-functions are for implementing custom behaviour. Merely defining or not defining the meta-function makes no difference; it is what the meta-function does that matters. If there is the same meta method defined for each base in object.base1.base...

Re: Classes in AHK, a Dissection (Advanced)

Yes, thanks for the info, For the sake of practicality, (at least in C likes) a class is just Class Phoo { //Member list } A little more on Metas in the Tutorial: If any of these (except __Init()) are omitted from the base class, are there generic routines invoked instead? Nice little example of pol...

Re: tab characters converting to spaces in codebox

Wonder if this affects any code posted before the fix? ---
If that is related at all to the problem of lines containing only <CR LF> given an extra space in forum code?
Heck, not a major drama if the compiler can be made to ignore a line containing space(s) only. :)

Re: Understanding AutoHotkey

Here's Func's code without the spaces. Just renamed a function, put the label at the end, the not existing vars at the start, and ran the whole lot from NPP. :bravo: #NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. ; #Warn ; Enable warnings to assist with detec...

Thanks for the tutorial. For newbs like yours truly it's recommended to setup AHK for N++ first.
And of course the same guy at this forum. :)

Not sure if this is the right place- but the login for archived forums doesn't work for new users. Guess that makes sense, but cool how it is setup.
As a matter of interest what are the permissions if one is able to login there?

Launcher for Legacy Program?

Hi there, This isn't a specific request for help, for not having written any script yet, but had a look around the site a bit and found some interesting stuff. The problem is to code a launcher for a legacy Windows Forms VB game that runs in 1024X768. Ideally one which is capable of resuming the ori...

Re: Login Issues Topic is solved

Hi joedf, Had multiple windows, but zero posts, and a little trouble logging back in on some. Just upgraded to W10 latest, but Edge insists on long loading times, perhaps you recommend another browser? Submitted a post already and Edge lost the input with "Hmm, we can’t reach this page...." Anyway, ...
