Bad traffic? That'll be from driving on the left. :D

Thanks for looking into it.

Re: BBC BASIC - a blast from the past into the future

Haha, great stuff garry - good to see that photo - I've still got a Sharp pocket computer too, lower spec probably with a single line of text. It's fun trying to see what you can program on really limited machines with about 2k script memory and a rubbish monochrome readout!

Re: fix this!!!

I'm getting the same issue of having to prove I'm not a robot if I don't navigate for several minutes, although it's not telling me I'm banned. In my case, I don't think it's anything to do with the scripts I'm posting, because I'm just navigating - maybe we're dealing with two different issues here...

Re: Can you identify which tray icon got single left click? Topic is solved

Of course, thanks, that's a good reminder to me - I get used to things looking the way they are on my system and forget people set things up quite differently. Useful reminder, because my current project is a tray clock , and if people don't know about the Taskbar settings, it might just be in the o...

Re: Can you identify which tray icon got single left click? Topic is solved

For me, icons never persist on the taskbar proper. That's odd. (You've answered my question, I'm just :offtopic: now  ). Do you mean the "systray"/Notification Area (which I suppose is also part of the "Taskbar")? They have settings as to when they're shown and when they're hidden and put in t...

BBC BASIC - a blast from the past into the future

Hi guys, I thought it was time I gave a shout-out to my other go-to language, BBC BASIC, and see if anyone else here uses it. It was, of course, one of the first widely-used languages on home computers back in the 1980s, designed to be easy to use. Its latest incarnations are BBC BASIC for Windows (...

Re: TrayClock - digital clock in notification icon

i had a problem when i forgot to include the gdip.ahk it went on an endless reloading spree and spammed me with windows Ah, that's useful to know, thanks (and sorry). I think I'll just copy and paste the few functions I use from the gdip.ahk library into the program itself. It doesn't need most of ...

Re: Any time limit on editing your posts? Topic is solved

Cheers nnnik, that was quick! Good to know I can use it that way for now. It's on my todo list to finally get my head round GitHub - the times I go there, I hardly understand anything, it's so full of jargon. But it's obviously going to be the way to go. "Combined with an online host..."? - doesn't ...

Any time limit on editing your posts? Topic is solved

Hi, could you tell me if there's a time limit on editing my posts, please? I think the best way to update a script I'm writing is to change the code box in the OP rather than keep posting a new version, and say that's what I'm doing, but I don't want to say that and come back one day to find I can't...

Re: TrayClock - digital clock in notification icon

Just updated the script in the OP to version 1.05, which I'm pretty sure has fixed the crash! It uses HICON: instead of HBITMAP:* (and the * was a mistake, too).

I'm working on the event reminders now, which probably won't be too long coming. :)

I now get -1 wherever I click. It's Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Thanks.

Re: Can you identify which tray icon got single left click? Topic is solved

Hi jeeswg, that looks promising, thanks. But so far I'm getting "FAIL" for the ErrorLevel in the second script. The first one does give the text of the tooltip. Anyway, I've had an idea. It occurs to me that I could identify the tray icon clicked on using the tooltip if it was unique and unchanging....

Re: Neural Network basics - Artificial Intelligence using AutoHotkey!

Thanks again Gio. Yikes, it's too hard for me! I think I'll leave artificial intelligence and continue with my current project, natural stupidity. But it was interesting and I've learned a few things. I think I get why there were other dimensions in the arrays now, having looked at the second ...

Can you identify which tray icon got single left click? Topic is solved

Hi, guys, I've been searching and testing ideas, including using Sean's TrayIcon library , interrogating my script's HICON that I use for the Menu, Tray, Icon, HICON:*%hIcon% , I've tried using MouseGetPos and all the data I can get from TrayIcon_GetInfo() and I can't get anything to match. I'd like...

Re: TrayClock - digital clock in notification icon

Nice job I've got a similar tool called TrayDate (for the date) You could try making the time display like 8:30 but slowly scrolling left and right across the icon, only displaying wwhat can fit Thanks gwarble. Yes, I've toyed with the idea of some kind of scroll, but haven't yet faced the maths in...

Just updated to TrayClock v1.04 in original post - minor change as described there - but if 1.03 freezes on you, update.

Re: Neural Network basics - Artificial Intelligence using AutoHotkey!

Wow, Gio, thanks for all that information. What I'm realising is that this is such a complex subject that I'll need to do more learning - I haven't even really studied this thread yet. I understand the principle of adjusting the weights, and also the use of the gradient (although my calculus is a bi...
