Re: Logitech MX Master Mouse... Again. Topic is solved

Success!!!!! Once I figured out the AHKHID wasn't working due to user error I was able to use it to find the mouse button. Turns out, that button is seen as another keyboard. The keys it send is Control+Alt+Tab. AHKHID told me it sends special keys VK17 and VK18, when I figured out those were Contro...

Logitech MX Master Mouse... Again. Topic is solved

I'm reluctant to post this since the topic has been covered many times before, but I can't find a solution to my particular problem. I'm trying to remap the extra keys on my MX Master mouse without having to use the supplied Logitech software. No reason to have yet another program always running, al...

Re: MCI library still usable?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't had, and won't have time to look at your example, for a few days but I will. I'll compare your functions with what's in my library and see if there is any difference.

"System Sounds" in Win 10 mixer. Topic is solved

Is there a way to specifically control the "System Sounds" channel as seen in the attached pic? The mixer only seems to respond to component type of Master or Wave but using those effects all three channels. Other component types have no effect on this mixer. When I try to use a component type not l...

MCI library still usable?

Dug out one of my old Win XP scripts because I have a new use for it. It is a media player that would retrieve the total length of a track and the time left. Now, on Win 10, it doesn't work at all and I can find no apparent reason. It was entirely based on the MCI.ahk library. Does anyone know if th...

Re: Help with math for progress bar.

Here's what I've been able to Google. It would be great if someone could let me know if I'm on the right track here. Get1: Val := YoctoKnob_ButtonVal(ModSN,1) input := -Val value := map(input, -1023, 0, 0, 255) ; GuiControl , , tempbar, %value% GuiControl , , temptext, %value% Return map(X,A,B,C,D) ...

Help with math for progress bar.

I'm needing to do some math for a progress bar but am unable to wrap my head around it. I'm reading the input of a temperature sensor but the input is high numbers for low temps and low numbers for high temps. For instance, Temp of 34c sensor returns 380. Temp of 4c sensor returns 660 So I need to c...

Re: Get return status

Thanks but this one is still not returning anything and it doesn't activate the relay I'm controlling. I'm still playing around with it but I can't figure out how to make it work with the relay.

Get return status

I'm trying to get the return status from a function. Using the code below I get no return. USBRelay(serial,oc,chan) { Run, %comspec% /c CommandApp_USBRelay %serial% %oc% %chan%, , Hide Return, %ErrorLevel% } The few instructions for this devices are written by someone who's not too familiar with Eng...

Drag an image within a gui.

Hello. I know I've done this in the past but at this point I don't have a clue how I did it. (Advanced age problem)

I simply need to be able to drag a pic inside a gui window. It only need to move left and right. Can someone point me to an example?

Interface with Android Apps?

Sorry for asking here but I don't know what terms to Google so I have to start somewhere. I saw the announcement on Facebook for using AHK to automate Android apps. Is it possible to control ahk scripts, or more likely scripts compile to exe, from an Android app? Or... can an Android app read and wr...

Re: Convert minutes to hours and minutes.

Great, thanks for this.

I had actually found a way using the old MCI library. It has a function to convert minutes to milliseconds and another to convert milliseconds to hours, minutes, and seconds. That worked but this is much simpler. Thanks again.

Convert minutes to hours and minutes.

My printer gives me time remaining in minutes, I am trying to convert that into hours and minutes. For instance if it tells me 90 minutes left I would like to convert it to 1:30. I've tried using FormatTime but I'm not doing something right. FormatTime, TimeVar, 90, h:mm Since some prints take sever...

Re: Does the activeX control work in the latest version of Windows?

Well, activex started working again on it's own. I guess it wasn't enough restarting the computer a dozen times, had to leave it off and let it set for several hours as well. Wish the other things the update broke would start working again on their own as well. This still leaves the question, as vul...
