How to check if a key is present in my keyboard? Topic is solved

hi, I've a desktop & notebook with slightly different keyboards I wanna run the same script in both. I need to know if I'm running the script in my notebook or in my desktop, in order to skip the error when trying to map a non existent key. I can't find any thread about. Any help would be appreciated.
