Re: OpenRPA Demo With Founder, Allan Zimmermann

Sometimes I use OpenRPA.Script to write AHK code directly, and sometimes I call an AHK script from VB.NET or C# code, again via OpenRPA.Script. It depends on the situation. Sometimes one or the other won't work, so tweaking is needed. I agree with you 100% about documentation, training, and videos. ...

Re: OpenRPA Demo With Founder, Allan Zimmermann

SOTE , personally I use AHK with OpenRPA to access MS Office COM objects. For example, I use AHK to create a pivot table on an Excel sheet, something that's tough to do in most of the RPA platforms with their built-in functionality - this despite the fact that Excel is probably the most used app of...

Re: OpenRPA Demo With Founder, Allan Zimmermann

Allan has been very accessible and responsive. OpenRPA gets frequent updates, and is progressing rapidly. Last fall he was kind enough to devote an hour of his time to giving me a Skype demonstration of both OpenRPA and OpenFlow, the Node-RED back end for OpenRPA. It is really amazing what he has ac...

Re: Slow forum

I don't know if this might have anything to do with it or not, but I just got an AJAX request error that I have never seen before. After it appeared, I had to switch to another browser to get here to post this. Have there been any Ajax-related changes lately?

Hi log_chop , garry gave a great answer, as usual. :bravo: But I understand the confusion. Consider this code, just garry 's with a few changes: Gui, Add, Button, x42 y109 w100 h30 gOK Default, Ok Gui, Add, Button, xp y+10 wp hp, Dummy Gui, Font, s14 Gui, Add, ComboBox, x42 y59 w240 h120 vAnswer, op...

Re: .NET Framework Interop (CLR, C#, VB)

bourdin07 , please take a look at jNizM's extremely helpful DllCall github repository . I think may you need DllCall instead of .NET Interop for this. This is from jNiZm's github repository. If you are trying to get the ticks since March 23, 1987, it won't do that, but may help nonetheless. GetTick...

Re: Workplace Productivity Hacks - CodeKnight's Code

Here's what accented characters look like in your posted code, @submeg . Can you post what encoding you use? I haven't had any luck with the accents, regardless of what encoding I save in. Tried both Chrome and Firefox so far.
