Re: Where is the Chinese Forum ?

@lx930129, I agree with you. I also think it would be good to put a *sticky* topic at the top of the Chinese forum, letting people know that a moderator is needed before people can post again.

@kczx3, thank you for this. I just tested it with v2-a099 and it works great. Very impressive.

Re: can I use python keyboard module with autohotkey dll

@totalbs1, by chance I've been working on what is basically a self-tutorial for using AutoHotkey.dll in python. I don't know if it will give you any ideas, but here it is. You can run an AutoHotkey script in python (GUIs and all), pass variables back and forth between python and AHK, and call AHK fu...

Re: Red and Rebol

SOTE, I share your concern about Red/Pro's direction. Red does appear to be maturing rapidly, though. @astral8wiz, you might try Ungaretti's tutorials here also, I'm going through them now myself. I've noticed that a lot of example code that's available is a couple of years old, and lots of it needs...

Re: Red and Rebol

@astral8wiz, today I managed to get AHK to run from red, via AutoHotkey.dll. I you (or anyone else, of course) is interested, I could post the red-lang code I used. I didn't need a separate AHK script, although that can be done - I just put code inside the red-lang script and passed it to AutoHotkey...

Re: [Function] FFToolTip: Flicker-Free ToolTip

@iPhilip, thanks for this. Very nice work and nicely commented. I can only test the single-monitor version(s), but on my Win7 64-bit setup (AHK_L 1.1.30.01) it's fantastic. Quite an improvement.

Re: [Editor] Gdip Bitmap Maker

HB, that's beautiful stuff, thank you! Just FYI, your sample looks really good at 125% (i.e. 120dpi) on my Win7 Pro 64-bit setup (AHK_L 1.1.30.01). Bravo!!!

Re: Strange ban - "You are not authorised to read this forum"

Thanks, gregster, nice find, snagged it. cachedview.com has a handy link to the Wayback Machine as well as to Google Cache, in case anyone's interested. I notice one link there was to North Korea's weather channel - maybe that triggered something. :)

Re: DynFunc() - Dynamic Functions With Dynamic Parameters Simplified

@0x00, that's impressive. Could I prevail upon you to provide an example of comma-delimited functions for param 2?

Code: Select all

FuncAsyncExec("MyAsyncFunction", "MyAsyncFunction",false)

Re: Alternatives to IE ActiveX

@CloakerSmoker, I hope someone does answer your question. I have tried in vain to embed Firefox as well. mozctl.dll dates to 2005, and hasn't been any help. As you've mentioned, I get errors about unregistered window classes. There may be some hope with "Gui, Add, Custom" yet - the docs page says (r...

@teadrinker, I'll see if I can post the script (copied from pastebin) here from my machine as a test (works great, by the way). Nope, fails.

Re: Help: Old W2K with Secured Access DB

@TXShooter, I had the reverse problem about twenty years ago. I was asked to get a SunOS database into Access97. I also had no access to the DB (no password). I ended up using a number of *nix tools to grep the data out of the database after an sqldump, and then pulled it into Access. My memory of t...
