Re: WSO (WindowSystemObject)

tmplinshi , I just saw this post of yours now for some reason. A special thanks to you for giving me a way to translate things like HelpMenu.Add("About","F1").OnExecute = GetRef("HelpAbout") in VBScript to HelpMenu.Add("About","F1").OnExecute := Func("HelpAbout") in AHK. There are many examples of ...

Re: Suggestions on documentation improvements

@swagfag, thanks. It would have never occurred to me that "([{ continuation" meant "continuation with '(/[/{'" or "continuation with (, [ or {." I took ([{ to be a single delimiter, similar to {{ in jinja2, or ${ in Mako.

Re: Suggestions on documentation improvements

Looking through release notes for past versions of 2.0 ( here ) I find: Changes to ([{ continuation: Fixed detection of missing close-quote in continuation expressions. Fixed comment sections and line continuation in or following ([{ continuation. Fixed ([{ continuation for hotkeys with same-line ac...

Re: CLR compiling - continuation section tricks

evilC , in the OP the variables are expanded before compilation ("dynamically" - whether rightly or wrongly - referring to the fact that they were obtained from the GUI and not declared statically within the code) and variables are also added after compilation. list.Add(new KeyValuePair<int, string...

CLR compiling - continuation section tricks

This script is in part a result of some back-and-forth with sancarn and evilC the threads at this link, Topic: .NET Framework Interop (CLR, C#, VB), and some of this code is probably sancarn's or evilC's, or at least based on it. First, this is NOT an attempt to show any 'right way' to do any .NET p...

DocX.dll from AHK

Warning - this is not going to be a short post, just skip to the bottom if you want to find out how to create Word .docx documents without Word - from AHK. After countless fits and starts I discovered why I don't see any CLR samples with the following snippet: class Program { static void Main(strin...

PerfectWindows by Zhiyang

Hi, I checked out some of Zhiyang's scripts , and though they might be of use to English speakers also. Re: Class RichEdit - update on 2015-04-14 (v0.1.05.00)

kczx3 , I'm sure that's it too. Using Word's RichEdit's riched20.dll, which is quite a bit larger, can do the trick may get us closer. But then of course you have to have Word :). For the attached script, I'm using the riched20.dll that's found in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFF...

Re: Class RichEdit - update on 2015-04-14 (v0.1.05.00)

m3user , I get the same result. However, you might try copying and pasting from that rtf file saved by Word into RichEdit or WordPad. Try copying just the image, then try Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C before pasting. I think the results will surprise you. Bottom line is that Word seems to add data to the clipboar...
