Re: random phrase selector - how to?

Try it and play around until it does what you want.
The great thing about your own script, is you can change bits to meet your needs.

The {Raw} will include the space - is this what you want?
If not, try removing it.

+Resize

Hi Just after some information: I want to add Gui +Resize after the window has been created and shown (because I want to take some WinGet details from it first). It works fine, but the documentation says: For performance reasons, it is better to set all options in a single line, and to do so before ...

The script you already have worked fine wherever I tried it.
Each time I pressed the left key, it sent:

So I'm not sure how to help...sorry :(

Re: Need Help With A Simple Problem

I can't replicate your problem to find out what's wrong.

1) Have you tried SendPlay instead?

2) If you have the text on your clipboard and paste it - does it send the colon then?

Re: Need Help With A Simple Problem

Hi
I'm also new, so you may get a better solution soon - but from me...would it work if you sent the character number instead?

Code: Select all

SendInput {asc 058}

Re: OnMessage - know which window

I'm still learning ahk, so I'm sure the experts will give you a better solutions - but until then, try this: Gui 40: Destroy Gui 40: +AlwaysOnTop +Resize -caption ToolWindow +LastFound Gui 40: Show, x100 y100 w200 h200, Block A OnMessage(0x201, "ClickDragCapToScreenBlock") OnMessage(0x203, "CloseToS...

Re: Strange behaviour

Decided to cover all the bases to get rid of the buggy nature:

Code: Select all

~#Alt::

Thanks for all the help

Re: Strange behaviour

Thanks qwerty12, that works perfectly. Last few questions and I'm done: My attempt is quite buggy - it works if I hold make sure I carefully press windows down first, then alt...but if I press them together (and alt goes down first) then it doesn't work. Also - is the Keywait system the best to use?...

Re: Strange behaviour

I did it like this: ~#Alt:: CursorHandle := DllCall( "LoadCursor", Uint,0, Int,32515 ) DllCall( "SetSystemCursor", Uint,CursorHandle, Int,32512 ) DllCall( "SetSystemCursor", Uint,CursorHandle, Int,32513 ) KeyWait, Alt, L SPI_SETCURSORS := 0x57 DllCall( "SystemParametersInfo", UInt,SPI_SETCURSORS, UI...

Re: Strange behaviour

Also - a bit more advice please.

I'd like the cursor to change so I can select precisely using WindowsAltLeftClick

#!Lbutton::

But I obviously need it to happen before the clicking starts - so I can see where to click.

Thanks

Strange behaviour

Hi I'm playing around with altering 2 cursors: the normal select (32512) and the text select (32513). I'm changing them to precision select (32515) when I press WinP (and back when I press WinQ). However, if I include the line for 32512 (normal select) then the line below it stops working. If I comm...

Re: troubles understanding how Wintitle works

You may need to include:

Code: Select all

SetTitleMatchMode, 2
So it detects the word included in the title.

Also, I don't think you need the name of the exe, just whatever the title is, i.e.:

Code: Select all

IfWinExist, Dessins
Hope that helps

SendMessage and ahk_pid

Hi I'm trying to use GT Text as an OCR screen-reader. I downloaded it from here: http://www.softocr.com/ In the same file - I've added a script that works when I use WinTitle as text: SendMessage, 0x111, 33031, 0, , New - GT Text But not when I use WinTitle as ahk_pid: SendMessage, 0x111, 33031, 0, ...

Re: DllCall - Assign icon for “Copy/Cut/Paste/Delete” Windows default context menu items

Thanks - that's even easier.

It looks to me like there's an opportunity for someone create a beautiful context-menu editor in ahk.

If they could add an icon changer for cut/copy/paste/delete...I'd be problem free ;)
