Android Applications

I know that AHK is only designed for windows so this would probably be an entire change to everything in the "backbone" / "guts" of the language framework but I think it would be really cool if the AHK compiler script could also compile basic android apps, in the same manner you can make basic execu...

Trying to understand functions within objects Topic is solved

Trying to understand why these functions execute automatically when defined in this object? My intuitions makes it seem like I should have to call them afterwards, and that the object is only being defined as a collection of the functions? On a side note I dont really know what I'm doing here but it...

try this: That didn't work and skipped several other words including the first word. If I'm not mistaken, the loop moves starting position to the end of the detected needle, but doesnt have the oppurtunity to search for the next needle for that previous needle it moved past, if you understand what ...

is there is space between the word and the number??
There might be, and there might not be. It would be either aux\d+ or aux \d+, aux not being case sensitive.

Re: Problem with Loop / Code skiping loop Topic is solved

Look at your function call, you left the arguments as x and y.

I changed to:

Code: Select all

randomSleep(1,1)
And it works.

Youi're sure? I'm not looking to do this in the context of the example, it was just a quick way to explain what I wanted. I run into a lot of loops like this with subarrays, I'm not sure these examples you give would be suited for but thanks for the info.

How to add to the key of a For-loop Topic is solved

Wondering how you can add to the key such that the key increments more then +1 per round of the loop. For example, if I wanted to msg box just the 1's in this object: object:=[1,0,0,1,0,0,1] for a, v in object { msgbox, %v% a:=a+2 ; this doesnt actually change the key value } Such as achieved by thi...

Re: Sum up prices from multiple sentences

This might not be the best way to do this but it works. Under the assumption that the value is the last element in each sentence. Copy the the sentences into clipboard and use hotkey Ctrl+R. Otherwise you can modify by removing all characters except for numbers and the period at the opening, but you...

AutoHotKey at Work - Trying to get my script past Dev team

Hey everyone, I've been working on an app for the agents at my contact center to write notes for their calls. The idea took off and was met with some praise among the workforce and operations teams. Over the next few days I'm going to be interviewed by a leader in the Development team who would deci...
