Re: Mouse Gestures: Which to use?

Thanks @scriptor2016, I went to look at StrokeIT, but I realised that would be another thing I would need to ask IT to approve and install. So I'm going to have to stick with AHK scripts for the moment.

@eugenes, do you have a copy of this? I'm trying to give this a go, but the link Lexikos posted is no longer active.

Does anyone know where there's a current/active copy of Lex' Mouse Gestures? The download link returns a 404 error.

Mouse Gestures: Which to use?

Hi all, I just purchased a Wacom Intuos Pro , and I wanted to enable mouse gestures as triggers for hotkeys. I just ran a quick search, and found quite a few threads about this: GetMouseGesture() Mouse Gestures MouseGesturesL GGGlide Lex's Mouse Gestures I'm assuming that lexikos ' script is the mos...

Re: Workplace Productivity Hacks - CodeKnight's Code

Here's what accented characters look like in your posted code, @submeg . Can you post what encoding you use? I haven't had any luck with the accents, regardless of what encoding I save in. Tried both Chrome and Firefox so far. Thanks, burque505 Hi burque505 , I too have had issues with the accents;...

One of the guys at work built the same idea, but without the GUI, this is amazing! Great stuff! I just scrolled up to see who made this, of course, Hellbent! The GUI style should've given it away; I've watched your youtube tutorials to help understand how to build GUIs, I'm not surprised you made th...

Re: Workplace Productivity Hacks - CodeKnight's Code

What? Increase your typing speed. Why? The majority of my day is spent typing, so anything that can make it easier/faster to create reports, emails, etc is a winner. How? Based on the script by endolith , it was reduced/modified by work colleagues to allow for the creation of "word shortcuts" and i...

Re: Using AHK with Grid3 by Smartbox

gregster , I just completed the following: 1. Uninstalled AHK from my "public user" folder 2. Reinstalled AHK (whilst logged into my Admin account) in C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey; ensuring that "Run with UI Access" was enabled. 3. Rebuilt the script (based on the #IfWinActive/#IfWinExist example he...

Re: Using AHK with Grid3 by Smartbox

Thanks gregster , I will give this a go this afternoon. I will try the reinstalling method first, as I have admin rights on this surface device (unlinke the trial device), but I'd rather do it from the ground up. I'll test it and post the results. I've found that while the Grid3 software is amazing,...

Using AHK with Grid3 by Smartbox

Hello all, In June of this year, I was building an interactive GUI for my Dad to use on his Windows Surface tablet with eye tracking software. He has Motor Neuron Disease (MND) and has lost the use of his hands and is currently losing the ability to speak. Thankfully, due to the NDIS scheme here in ...

Re: Programmable Keyboard code --> Auto hotkey.

I would like to write a code that would allow me to convert such strings of symbols "a0101a0101" to symbols, combinations of modifier keys or other operations without interfering with my typing process. When you look at the Key History, is a0101a0101 what appears? I'm trying to understand what keys...

Just a thought - could you do a check to see if the second script is running, and if it is, close it, otherwise open it?

Re: Word: Changing selected text style Topic is solved

Hi teadrinker, that was what I was missing! The whole code is now: #F1:: If WinActive("ahk_class OpusApp") { wdApp := ComObjActive("Word.Application") wdApp.ActiveDocument.ActiveWindow.Selection.Style := wdApp.ActiveDocument.Styles("Para 1") } Return Now I know I need to have ActiveDocument and Acti...

Re: Word: Changing selected text style Topic is solved

I think an issue is here: wdApp.ActiveDocument.Selection.Style := wdApp. ActiveDocument.Styles("Para 1") Hi teadrinker, I tired that and it returned the following error: 0x80020006 - Unknown name. Specifically: Selection Where it pointed to the following line: wdApp.ActiveDocument.Selection.Style:=...

Please see above for updated code; however it's definitely some level of syntax that I'm missing here...

I'll keep searching to see what I can find.
