Re: How to add a DropDownList with arrow on left instead of right?

GUI Add, DropDownList, vExample, Foo|Bar will create a control with the arrow on the right side of the control, to the right of the text. How do we make the arrow appear on the left side of the control instead? This seems to work for me: Gui Add, DropDownList, vExample +E0x00001000, Foo|Bar Gui, Sh...

Re: Slow forum

What I see in working through long lists of approval requests multiple times in recent days is that apparently new users (or with low post count) apparently don't realize that their post or request already got through. So they end up double- or triple-posting and/or requesting approval 5 to 15 time...

Re: Formatting a variable.

If you want to add literal quotation marks to literal strings in expressions , you need to to use two consecutive quotation marks (as an escape sequence ): Within an expression , two consecutive quotes enclosed inside a literal string resolve to a single literal quote. For example: Var := "The color...

Re: Is there a way to Encrypt, hide, Obfuscator the source code so they don't steal it?

After using a well known widely available resource tool on my own compiled script I saw my source clear as day in the .exe file. If you compile it "normally" (without any compression or other options) you can even use Notepad to view the source code of your script - you just need to scroll a bit. I...

Re: hotkey <>

Welcome to the forums!

Did you try

Code: Select all

<::RCtrl
?

Otherwise, I would try the scan code of that key: See https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/KeyList.htm#SpecialKeys

Kein Problem! Ist ja grundsätzlich ein berechtigter Einwand.

Re: HP ENVY x360 - 15-ds0509nz Topic is solved

Habe kein Thread erstellt gehabt. :headwall: Keine Panik! Aufgrund des ultra-lahmen Forums gab es Dutzende von "approval requests", da Leute immer wieder das gleiche gepostet haben ohne z...

Re: Is Alpha not working correctly

Not a bug, afaik. You can't use is in If-Expression mode (with parentheses). Note: The operators "between", "is", "in", and "contains" are not supported in expressions. Currently your code just concatenates the three variables Col , is and Integer/Alpha . Only Col is non-blank, hence true in both ca...

Still trying to see if I can get through with a cry for help without success. What do you mean? You are literally posting in the 'Ask For Help' section right now. Please don't create multiple topics with the same content. Since you don't have many posts, some might need to be approved (depending on...

Re: Can Hotstrings be toggled on/off? Topic is solved

It should be pointed out in the page on #IfWInActive that it's deprecated. It's largely a manual in bad ways to do things. You are mistaken. #IfWinActive and the other #IfWin... directives are actually not deprecated. For their use cases, they are preferable to #If constructions: "For performance r...

Re: WinActivateForce - how to use ?

How do I specify which window I want to force ? You don't. It's a general setting that gets evaluated at the start of the script, which will affect commands that activate a window -- such as WinActivate , WinActivateBottom , and GroupActivate -- and the way they will try to activate a window. In th...
