Re: Get WindowID by its fast or slow visible text

I don't have that version of photoshop so I can't help. But take a look at the WinGet inside the if statement, it's missing the symbol so you might be getting the ID of a different window.

Re: MQTT needs 2 comspec windows for publish & subscribe

I have this function lying around: AllocConsoleAndHide() { static Init := False if (not Init) { Init := True DllCall("AllocConsole") ; Allocate one console window. WinHide % "ahk_id " DllCall("GetConsoleWindow", "ptr") ; Keep hidden. } } I call it before ComObjCreate. There's sometimes a small flash...

Re: Get WindowID by its fast or slow visible text

Try something like IfWinExist, ahk_class OWL.Dock, ° but make sure the "degree symbol" is not something that looks alike but has a different unicode value (a superscripted o for example).

Re: Win key arrange

The windows key is quite annoying to remap but using blind mode it seems to work:

Code: Select all

$#LButton:: Send, {Blind}#{Left}
$#RButton:: Send, {Blind}#{Right}

Re: WinActivate causing game to freeze

Note: The acc.ahk code outputs screen coordinates, but ControlClick uses offset coordinates, so, if, for example, your screen is 1280x1024, the acc.ahk code might output something like 1001 for the y coordinate (because the taskbar is located near the bottom of the screen) but the y coordinate you ...

Re: WinActivate causing game to freeze

There's some difficulty in finding where the icon is in the taskbar. If I were you I'd make some tests with hardcoded values on ControlClick or Click commands, to be sure it's the solution. About finding the taskbar button, I remember searching about once but I didn't end up using it. This is from g...

Re: Naming modifiers and remapping them - possible?

A possible alternative could be working with the Hotkey command but you'll need to create labels or functions for your actions.

Code: Select all

Kana := "vkffsc070"
Hotkey, %Kana% & w, DoTheThing
DoTheThing(){
    MsgBox
}

I see your question unanswered, maybe you can get a little more help if you ask in the subforum of AutoHotkey_H where the autohotkey.dll comes from.

Re: querySelector/querySelectorAll examples

Also there's a common meta tag, similar to this: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" />

That has many variations and It's likely that the sites that work with querySelector and the ones that don't have a different "content" attribute on that tag.

Re: querySelector/querySelectorAll examples

There seem to be some differences between working online and working locally.

If I remember correctly document.defaultView is one of them, trying to work online it retrieves the window object, but on local it doesn't.

Edit: I meant document.defaultView.

You're passing RGB color without passing the RGB option. Check the documentation for PixelSearch on the Mode parameter.

Re: WinActivate causing game to freeze

Could it be for being too fast? If you let about 1s between detecting the prompt and activating the game does it do the same? Maybe it's annoying to wait but at least to know if that can be the reason. A different alternative that comes to mind is sending an Alt + Tab, because it usually comes back ...

Re: Event on db click on taskbar

Check the documentation for Menu more concretely the Default subcommand: https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Menu.htm#Default

Summarized, if you want to make a custom action you have to create a menu and assign the default action to it.

You should stay over the control #1 or #2 for 1 second. And then you'll see the tooltip with the text on MyEdit_TT or MyDDL_TT respectively.
For the #3 there isn't a tooltip text declared so it doesn't show nothing.

It's weird that you're receiving that in the first place. Are you trying to read some url meant to be used in another app? Because it could even be encoded to be hard to understand by external tools.

Re: What is this code?

By binary I was just pointing to the Ascii Null (Hexadecimal 00). When Ahk finds that in a variable you can't read further at least not the same way as with strings. To decode you need to know how it was encoded. And it doesn't seem like you have that information, so it's going to be difficult guess...

Re: WinHttpRequest5.1 COM - returns 404 and 301 status code when page is 404ing. Why?

I suppose that could be the case, but why would it send a 301 redirect instead of a 403 or something else? Also, I've also scraped this domain at 10+ URLs/sec with Screaming Frog in the past with no problems. I guess that leaves out my supposition, although technically they could throw misleading e...

Re: What is this code?

\x is used in regex syntax to represent hexadecimal values. Like the more common % sign. But if you decode \x00 you're going to be in troubles with AHK because it doesn't handle binary too intuitively... Maybe you're getting a gzip response? I think there are ways to ask the server to not reply wit...

Re: WinHttpRequest5.1 COM - returns 404 and 301 status code when page is 404ing. Why?

Are you calling always the same host? I mean, maybe the server is protecting itself from your "bot". If that was the case, you can try to be more friendly putting some delay (in the order of seconds) between same host requests. EDIT: By the way, the urls you provided are all 404 both in browser and ...

Re: SendInput is sluggish, stops

Don't worry too much about ExitApp, it doesn't seem to be the problem. The thing about task manager is because it lists program differently if they have a window than if it not. But a process can be running without windows. Also one process can have several windows. It's normal. Try to follow what j...
