Re: Lua

Interesting. I have been looking into Lua since I have been aware of the software RainMeter. I love the visual buttons and such. I have been looking at gdip lib to try to recreate in ahk some of features of RainMeter. You have all ready help me in quest with your simple volume osd and fading window ...

Re: Links to get your synapses sparking

The Why is sound so imporant? This is a post to help you get perspective on how powerful a tool sound can be. It is really incredible how sounds can alter our thought processes, creative processes, moods, health, energy, and a myriad of other biological functions. People take "medications" to relie...

Re: Permanent Domain

So if the poll is over when should we be expecting a domain name change? I have a huge project idea I am trying to workout and on my check list is a domain name to reference this community forum.

No rush I still have tons of things to work out in my project.

Cheers!

Re: [Program] AHK Learner (Alpha Release)

The access to education is crucial to a computer language. The ability to import lessons and a tool to create them easily would make this software a prime gateway of education of the AHK language. If it makes it to the web we could expect even more capable users of the language and more attention to...

Re: Drawing & Handwriting Objects. Great for touchscreen dev

I ran this with a Wacom Bamboo tablet and it picks up the pen sensitivity. The one thing I did notice is the drivers for the MS/Wacom recongnized kick on in the handwriting box. I believe it is the Tablet PC Input Panel. The popup can be disabled through it's options. Thanks for this.

Cheers!

Re: [Script] KeypressOSD - Display key press on screen

This is a really good little script. This could be very helpful for programs that do not have the key press display for tutorials or self improvement. The first software I remember with this feature was Blender. I see tons of potential here to expand its features or mod it to display all kinds of di...

Re: CAE: Certified AutoHotkey Engineer

+1 This is a great idea. This may be a great way to focus and strengthen the community. I feel AHK has the potential to play a modular component in home automation. There are tons of things that could be automated in home now thanks to open source hardware and other emerging techs. I could really go...

Re: Links to get your synapses sparking

I got some more links. Really good info on the design of interfaces here. I found a video analyzing Blender's user interface. Which if you not familiar with Blender let me explain. Blender is probably one of the most powerful opensouce projects hands down. Unfortunatly the user interface is extremel...

Re: Looking for opinions on a library management script

I +1 this idea. I posted something on the first or second day about lib's. This would help solve the number one problem. Which is organization and accessibility. Also if the ability to check for updates or be notified of updates would be awesome. This would be a asset to community. The less confusio...

Discussions about Autohotkey Livechat / Autohotkey IRC

I have question's about the IRC. Does it display your ip address publicly to the room? If so is there a way without using vpn's and proxies to give something a troll could not use? I am sure that it is a fairly safe place but trolls lurk everywhere. Any feedback would be appreciated, so thank you ah...

I really like http://neave.com/fractal/ It's not about how humans evolve. It's not even a text. It's a fractal zoomer. But it's inspiring IMO and gets the "synapses sparkling". ;) I hope it's not too offtopic. I think this is a real good example of the power of html and java. The "out of the box th...
