Using KeyWait with "Alt + P." Cannot figure out how.

I'm trying to figure out how to use Alt + P to read these cells from Excel, copy that into variables and then I'd be going into a different application to paste the data using Alt + P, again. So far, this is what I have: !p:: XL := ComObjActive("Excel.Application") Cell := XL.ActiveCell ; finds the ...

Re: Parsing #s within Excel and then pasting into 3rd party application

So I took the 1st line out of that and it edits the clipboard contents perfectly! Last question! The following #s show up as such in the message box: 3687 680 680 830 1001 3687 2147 Is there a way to send the following keys as such: 3687 680 680 Send {Down} Send {Down} 830 1001 3687 Send {Down} 2147

Re: Parsing #s within Excel and then pasting into 3rd party application

If I had a list of numbers that I pasted from the clipboard (numbers will be different when I paste from the clipboard each time) in this format:

1848 395 269 416 628 1848 1076

Is there a way to get each # on it's own line?

Re: Parsing #s within Excel and then pasting into 3rd party application

That's awesome man! Is there a way to put an extra blank line between row 4 and row 5 and also have the #s not have any decimal points after?

Parsing #s within Excel and then pasting into 3rd party application

Is there a way I can copy about 5 cells in a row (the numbers will be changing and not be static as shown in the picture) and then paste the numbers in another applications fields (not using COM)? Re: Delete selected line using Loop? Topic is solved

So I used the below code and the ONLY way it works is if I FileAppend to a new file (with a different filename), rather then FileDelete/FilAppend combo? I have no clue why if I use the FileDelete/FileAppend combo, it literally doesn't even update the file. MsgBox, 36, Continue?, Are you sure you wan...

Re: Why is StringReplace not recognizing the varaible in this situation?

So I did some StringTrimming with my %DeleteKey% variable to get rid of any ::, _ or - symbols. In the following example: !f::Send BH_AL-101 gets trimmed to "BHAL101" Is there anyway, using RegEx, to match some of the characters in my string above and get that line #? Another example is as follows: ...

Re: Why is StringReplace not recognizing the varaible in this situation?

So I'm thinking I can use StringLeft Trim to possibly cut off some of the characters that might be affecting this? If I cut off some of the characters, would there be a way to find the line # containing the rest of the string and then just delete the whole line?

Re: Why is StringReplace not recognizing the varaible in this situation?

So If I directly type the "!f::Send BH_AL-101" it doesn't delete that line. I tested it out by just doing:

Code: Select all

MsgBox % OutputVar:= StrReplace(ReadOldHotKeys,"test test","`n")
And the above does replace the word 'test' with blanks.

Re: Why is StringReplace not recognizing the varaible in this situation?

Yeah, I am wondering if it does have to do with the variable. When I just FIileAppend the variable to notepad to see what it's containing, it does show up correctly. Would maybe copying the variable to clipboard do anything 1st?
