Re: Is it possible to use printscreen to save an image Topic is solved

Thanks for your help, your scrip is a bit complex for a newbie like me. Use that function? Gdip_DrawRectangle(pGraphics, pPen, x, y, w, h){ Ptr := A_PtrSize ? "UPtr" : "UInt" return DllCall("gdiplus\GdipDrawRectangle", Ptr, pGraphics, Ptr, pPen, "float", x, "float", y, "float", w, "float", h) } Yes...

Re: Does this work?

Your script works great and the search function works amazing fast and correct. The use of two crossing lines is a great idea. The drawing of this two lines is a bit slow on my system but not to slow to adjust good boundaries for the screenshot. Testsystem is: Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1...

Re: How to a call a function with a number at the end

Like this #SingleInstance,Force Numpad1:: Random,x,1,3 abc%x%() return abc1(){ msgbox, in abc1 } abc2(){ msgbox, in abc2 } abc3(){ msgbox, in abc3 } *ESC::ExitApp Is it really necessary to have the 3 functions? are you sure that you can't just set up a test in one function? i.e abc(x){ if(x=1){ do t...

If there isn't. You can always use a mono space font and pad the left side of your list.

Re: Request for assistance.

As soon as I posted this requested I noticed that there could be a issue with the dib section if the users main monitor is smaller than the secondary ones. I created what is hopefully a fix for that and will update the op in a second. If anyone has knowledge about this sort of thing perhaps you can ...

Does this work?

Hi. I'm currently working on some of the components of a larger project. As far as I can tell everything is working exactly as it should, but experience tells me that different versions of windows etc can play a role in how things work out. So I'm hoping that I can get a few people that can test the...

Re: gdip function list tool

Hellbent, I don't understand why you didn't edit your first post, and then put all the code there. Your 1st post is where people are most likely to look, and the 1st post is where many OPs make or show updates. It won't accept a post larger than 200000 chars (edited after the fact or not), so there...

Re: #IfWinActive does not support variables? Topic is solved

Like this? It does not work. Gui, Show, h300 w400, TEST Process, Exist pid := ErrorLevel return #If WinActive(TEST ahk_pid %pid%) Enter::MsgBox OK return ahk_pid is a string so it needs to be wrapped in quotes and pid doesn't need the %%. Not sure "Test" is doing anything. Never tried using the pro...

Re: How to keep the scripts independent and not affecting each other? Topic is solved

Try using the handle of the gui for your #IfWinActive rather than the title. That should fix it.

Code: Select all

#SingleInstance Off
Gui,+HWNDGUIHWND
Gui,Add,Text,xm ym w380 h200 vText,Text
Gui, Show, h300 w400, TEST
count:=0
return

#IF (WinActive("ahk_id" GUIHWND))
Enter::
GuiControl,,text,% ++Count
return

Re: Is it possible to use printscreen to save an image Topic is solved

If I want to use Gdip.ahk to select a rectangle area of the screen manually and save it as an image, how to do that, thanks. I just posted a script here that has that written into it. https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=60949 It only draws on the main monitor, but can be tweaked t...

Hellbent, This is very interesting. I am, however, unable to download it and get it to run. Perhaps because of the split. Did you work a way to submit the file in it's entirety and immediately operational? Perhaps attach a zip file to this post??? Here is a paste of if. https://pastebin.com/raw/XBg...

With Vectors. Press the gui button to set new start and end points. Press NumPad1 to start. Play around with the "Mag" values (0.1+) Play around with other numbers in the script. (Inside the Numpad1 hotkey section) #SingleInstance,Force SetBatchLines,-1 CoordMode,Mouse,Screen Start:=New HB_Vector(10...

Re: How to add a method to check if the window is (+/- minimized) Topic is solved

tmplinshi Thank you for your reply. I think that we have our wires crossed. I would like to add a method to the class that does this, I know that I can have external functions and subroutines that handle it, but I want it in the class. Truth be told, the project that I wrote this for isn't even goi...
