Re: Spiral drawing script how to make it run from current mouse coordinates?

Hi, You may want to try this: #SingleInstance Force CoordMode, Mouse SetFormat, Float, 0.7 $Pi := 4 * ATan(1) Radius:= 20 Sides:= 3 CenterOffset:= 3 ; Swapping sin to cos and vice versa below toggles the Offset vertical to horizontal and the rotation direction. If negative values are used here here ...

Temptive moving perimeter scan

Hi, I'm pretty sure there's better ways to achieve the same goal; I tried breadcrumbrling with the perimeter color and it worked weomewhat well, but if anyone would like to try and expand on this, and maybe correct where I went wrong I'd appreciate. It freezes at around 359 degrees, and increasingly...

Re: Monitor sysget breaks code that works with ghost variables? Topic is solved

Thanks for the answer! I have used these variables without quotes all the time on all my other scripts. Somehow in this script It took some time to get it going with the quotes and it worked for about a month with them, and now testing it works without them like all other scripts again. I wonder if ...

Monitor sysget breaks code that works with ghost variables? Topic is solved

Hi, I had this script working perfectly, but today I noticed I could have deleted this code: SysGet, Monitor2, Monitor, 2 I tried adding it again, but it started breaking the script. So I changed it to Mon2 for the output variable, and noticed the part of the script still using Monitor2 would work, ...

Re: Variable value disappears Topic is solved

I suppose AHK reads all the code first and uses values for the first gui at the second gui part of the sub, and "if" is only for execute. Not really sure what this means, but doesn't sound accurate. Obviously variables can be changed during runtime and AHK will use the up-to-date variable contents ...

Re: Variable value disappears Topic is solved

Yeah that was what I was using all the time but somehow it stopped working for me, you may want to see my last post to get an idea what began to happen. I used quotes both on the variables and ifs to get it going. I'll try to get bck on it later. I realized the script was derailing because of someth...

Re: Variable value disappears Topic is solved

Hi, many thanks for your reply and sorry for the poorly expanded post. There's no %Swap1%. but "Swap1-2" and "Swap2-2". I understand now that the "_" instead of "-" would have been a better choice on the moment I decided to try that approach. So only my f2 example is valid, which is pretty much how ...

Variable value disappears Topic is solved

Hello everyone, Thanks for reading. This code does not seem to work, and I'm just starting to troubleshoot my gui variable forking: f1:: Swap:=Swap1-2 ;Swap:=Swap2-2 Swap1Tab:=2 Swap2Tab:=2 If (Swap=Swap1-2 AND Swap1Tab=2 OR Swap=Swap2-2 AND Swap2Tab=2) MsgBox, % "Swap is: " Swap ", Swap1Tab is: " S...

Re: Different behavior from IniRead to in-script values

I guess there must be a difference between an active script variable and a value loaded from the file.
The variable probably derefs at activation.

Re: Different behavior from IniRead to in-script values

Thanks for the reply. That's what the message box shows. `% shouldn´t be the case, since it's the same literal string on both Msgbox codes. Changing %FrameTime% to FrameTime on the .ini file then so made no difference. I also changed the In-script values Msgbox code to add an extra deref, but it sti...

Re: Help with math please

Sorry but I need the math, by using only the MouseMove command, AHK calculates the coordinates by itself, thus I can't accept this as accepted answer, sorry ;) I was wondering, if in case you need math help, StackOverflow or so might be a better bet for you. Either way, you will need to formulate b...

Re: Help with math please

Maybe this will give a more homogeneous spread: #SingleInstance, Force CoordMode, Mouse SetFormat, Float, 0.6 SetDefaultMouseSpeed, 0 ExplosionSpeed:= 2 Esc:: ExitApp F1:: Loop { Mousemove, A_ScreenWidth/2, A_ScreenHeight/2 Random, SpreadX, -1.00000, 1.00000 Random, SpreadY, -1.00000, 1.00000 Mousem...

Re: help with 2 simultaneous loops

You may want to test this:

Code: Select all

SetTimer, w, 1100
SetTimer, q, 120000
w:
	Send w
Return
q:
	Send q
Return
You should try the help file for more info.

Different behavior from IniRead to in-script values

Hello, This code behaves differently if the values were loaded through IniRead or from variable input. Like so: SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir% IniRead, Hk, Config.ini, Values, Hk IniRead, XT, Config.ini, Values, XT IniRead, FrameTime, Config.ini, Values, FrameTime IniRead, HKey%Hk%XTDI%XT%, Config.ini,...

Re: Why would this code send random Left Clicks?

I could not find where the clicks were coming from, they were not logged. At ErrorLevel = 0 it was only supposed to send a keypress, but it sends up to a few random left clicks.
I patched it like above and called quits.

Re: Help with Variation Loop Topic is solved

Hi, I'm glad you got it working. I came up to a code for more general situations, it's something like this: F4:: Toggle:= !toggle If Toggle { While Toggle { ; code } Return } If !Toggle ; code Return EDIT: I thought it was doing an extra line within the while-loop code after toggled off, but I could...
