Using COM to execute a .jsx Adobe Illustrator Script with AHK Topic is solved

I'm trying to use AHK to force Illustrator to run a .jsx script. Apparently this is possible with AHK? https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3846626/is-it-possible-to-execute-jsx-scripts-from-outside-extendscript A user in the link above mentions that AHK should be able to do what Powerpro can, but hi...

Re: Syntax and naming conventions?

Just noticed I did that by accident lol, typing this all out on my phone. I don't actually do the := % thing.

I think I did that because I'm so used to typing MsgBox, % varOne " " varTwo. That's where I got that from.

Syntax and naming conventions?

What sort of naming conventions and syntax do you use(if any) when writing your code. I find myself changing portions of my code until "I like it." Just wanting to get some different perspectives here, because I see all sorts of variations out there. I know Autohotkey is case-insensitive, and so it ...

Re: How to remap Tab as Win key so it has two functions Tab and Win modifier

Code: Select all

$Tab:: ; $ added to prevent the hot key from triggering itself when the 'Send, {Tab}' command(below) is sent.
KeyWait, Tab
Send, {Tab}
return
That should do the trick. I guess I didn't quite understand your first post. Thank you for clarifying.

Re: When i press Enter i need: Enter, pause for half a second, ShiftTab

You'll need to make a Hotkey ( https://autohotkey.com/docs/Tutorial.htm#s2 ) That looks like this: Enter:: ; Your code here return ; end of hotkey Then you'll need to put your code inside the hotkey. You wish to: 1. Send a key ( https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Send.htm ) 2. Sleep for half a sec...

Re: How to remap Tab as Win key so it has two functions Tab and Win modifier

~Tab & m:: ; The tilde(~) key prefix prevents the native function of the Tab key from being blocked. KeyWait, m ; Waits for the "m" key to be released, so that the hotkey does not repeat multiple times. MsgBox, Tab & m pressed ; Your code here: [WinMaximize: https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Win...

Re: Shift as a key in hotstrings: want Shift (release) PgUp to send Home Topic is solved

In the documentation: As a hotkey (Shift::) it fires upon release unless it has the tilde prefix. Shift:: ; by default, the shift hotkey only fires when it is released. shiftReleased := true SetTimer, ShiftCountdown, -500 ; = 500ms from now. A negative number signifies that the timer should run only...

Docking multiple windows and moving them together? Topic is solved

I have a script that generates a bunch of windows(anywhere 2-20+ windows usually), and I'd like to be able to move them around, as if they were all docked to each other, if possible. The way I have it now, when the window is generated the hWnd is saved into an array. I'd like to be able use this arr...

Re: Working with GDIP2 windows. Topic is solved

Yes! Thanks. So in order to update the contents of the window, must I redraw everything, even if I only need to update the text? It's not a big deal, but it would be good to know. For example: F1:: win1.Clear() win1.FillRoundedRectangle(brush1, new gdip1.Point(0, 0), size1, 20) win1.WriteText("New T...

Working with GDIP2 windows. Topic is solved

I haven't been able to find many examples on this. Hopefully I can get some help here. I'm using GDI+ https://github.com/tariqporter/Gdip2 1. Is there a way to draw the new text in a GDIP2 window without redrawing everything else, or is the way that I've done it correct? 2. How do I make it so that ...
