Re: Slow arrays? Storing 12,000,000 entries! Topic is solved

well i just tested it and got a whopping 1.6 million lines per second peak, it averages around 800k per second and the lowest it goes is 300k lines per second, which is a phenomenal increase in speed! Thankyou! <3 however this brought an issue closer, previously i worked around the apparent memory l...

Re: Slow arrays? Storing 12,000,000 entries! Topic is solved

i haven't tried it yet but this is exactly what i need so i will flag it as solution... for now! ;p The main feature of the hash table is the fast instertion, deletetion and retrieving of key/value pairs. The expected time is O(1), which means that the time it takes to perform these actions is indep...

Slow arrays? Storing 12,000,000 entries! Topic is solved

Hey i'm having trouble with arrays slowing down the more they have stored I am storing domains and checking if they exist (on-the-fly duplicate detection) in my mind a simple array, arr[domain] would suffice, with dupe detection working as so; if !(arr[domain]) if it doesn't already exist arr[domain...

Re: regex headaches... dot on line detection Topic is solved

ah i'm glad it's not just me that was having trouble, i think perhaps regex is a bit quirky or at least the docs are old/outdated and these features perhaps no longer work Either way i appreciate your time and the solution works fantastic at speeding up parsing my only issue now is arrays slowing do...

Re: Timelapser [Bugz000]

Well done . For future considerations: It is a little annoying that the gui has no icon on the taskbar and no option to bring it to the foreground from the tray menu, and you can't alt-tab to it either. I also miss some indication from the gui when the operation is completed. Thanks for sh...

Re: Control click NEVER works...

any news on this? sadly no, basically you can fire events at "targets", like windows GUI elements will have a built in handler for clicking and keyboard events etc, this is what "controlclick" is invoking, so it only works for windows GUI elements (or other that may be coded to support the same api...

Re: Windows 10 closing AHK compiled script without warning

i recently had windows defender completely corrupt itself (appeared to be a recent update with the insider program that went horrendously wrong, ofcourse microsofts solution to the issue was simply "re-install the operating system"... literally... that was their only available fix for the issue.) so...
