Re: Basic question - Does this work?

What it sounds like what you are going to need to do is make OBS the active window again (since it sounds like OBS doesn't work while its inactive) then send the hotkey. For example (note not actually a working script, but the concept) F12:: WinActivate , OBS SendInput !0 Return This would be a work...

Re: Script was working Friday, not working Monday

weird changing the location of #include changes that it works since #includes is run at the very start of the script. As for the gosub could you turn it into a function and make it work?

Re: Script was working Friday, not working Monday

On line 338 you are missing the opening { for your if statement (which is throwing stuff off). I would fix that and see if the error continues.

Re: Dead Man's Switch

I would be careful with this. If you have written the scripts there at your work, then those scripts are their's (depending on policy). If you have written them at home on your own time then you can tell the company that you wish to take your work with you. I wouldn't purposely have a self destruct ...

Re: Script was working Friday, not working Monday

could you provide the script (and possibly the error message) to see where you script could be going wrong. A little hard to fix without being able to see code.

Re: my scripts is running a bit slower now

What swagfag is talking about is that without a script there is no way to know what is going on that could be causing a slow down. I suggest you post your script so people can help determine the problem. As for software slow down it depends on how many programs you are running. If you are running lo...

https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/_If.htm Example toggle := 0 ;|This will only go off if toggle is true/1 #If toggle ^b::MsgBox % "I display" ;|This will change the toggle var to the inverse of what it's original value is (0 = 1 and 1 = 0 || true = false and false = true) ^a::toggle := !toggle

Re: New data capture help needed

My suggestion is to grab the data from the website using COM or DOM. I would start by providing the html (if you can) as that will be a great help in making the data easier to grab.

Re: Can I store settings inside compiled script? Topic is solved

Personally I would use an INI file for your setting. Although it gives your user the ability to edit those files I still think its the best option in terms of user setting. I think you can also hide the file using the hidden option for your file. You can also use an xml or json, etc, but INI is easi...

Re: What am I doing wrong here ? Variable is empty

If you use GuiControlGet WrongOrRight%A_Index% you will have a variable then. The reason why is because the Gui doesn't give the current value unless you use Gui, Submit or GuiControlGet

Re: COMPARE DATES

In order to compare the times you must use the YYYYMMDDHH24MISS timestamp if you want to use it in an if statement. You can format the Clipboard time using the FormatTime function https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/FormatTime.htm. A_Now will give the standard timestamp that way you don't have to m...

Re: Please Help! Autohotkey, Chrome and Selenium Topic is solved

That first one is close. The javascript for selecting a dropdown is document.getElementById("customerAddress.state").selectedIndex = 1, this selects the dropdown index of 2 (since javascript starts at index 0) for element with id "customerAddress.state" This isn't tested but driver.findElementByName...

Re: Please Help! Autohotkey, Chrome and Selenium Topic is solved

my suggestion is to try javascript in the url before putting it into the script (note that with chrome you need to add "javascript:" before the actual code for testing). If customerAddress.State is a variable in your script and you are trying to select the option of that state you probably either ne...

Re: Please Help! Autohotkey, Chrome and Selenium Topic is solved

For selecting things using javascript you want document.getElementsByName( ""customerAddress.state"")[0].options[20].selected=true
The above should select the 21st option (since javascript starts at index 0)
