Re: (strg+f)search a page and return wether search was successfull or not?

dumb idea I just had:
strg+a
strg+c,
so basically copying the whole website text.
and using some function to look for, if the targetstrig is hidden inside tha copied text?

would that work?

and would all of that be possible to do with control sent or something, so it can be run in the background?

Re: How to get the absolute position of a certain html tag ?

Can I click on any kind of page element, even if they arent actually buttons or something? do they all have or allow the click() method? I am using the chrome.ahk but something like Page.Evaluate( "document.getElementsByTagName("div")[6].click()") (where page is the reference to the current tab, fou...

Re: how to connect with an existing chrome session with geekdudes chrome.ahk?

This example from the Chrome.ahk topic shows how to handle two tabs, even without activating them. You can also activate tabs, the easiest way is this (adding to the two-tabs example): F3::Page1.Call("Page.bringToFront") F4::Page2.Call("Page.bringToFront") I just gotta ask: This is my text so far: ...

Re: how to connect with an existing chrome session with geekdudes chrome.ahk?

msgbox % Page.Evaluate("list[" (A_index-1) "].innerHTML").value so in ahk, strings are concatenated together without any + or something? I know code like x:=5 string:="The number is " + x + "people" or something like that (is java, if I remember right) so autohotkey doesnt use anything to add 2 str...

Re: how to connect with an existing chrome session with geekdudes chrome.ahk?

okay, I solved the issue (probably) . downloaded the websocket and stuff that should have been downklaoded with the chrome.ahk, separately and put them in the folders. the weird 5A_line% or whatever it was also caused some issues, so I deleted it and put in an explicit path. now my test file's code ...

Re: how to connect with an existing chrome session with geekdudes chrome.ahk?

All I want is basically these 3 things: have some getElementsbyTag() kind of thing (or similar ones for class, etc.) get their attributes like innerhtml, outerhtml, etc. or combinations of both, cause somehow I from the very top I need to get down to a very specific tag deep inside. I don't really ca...

how to connect with an existing chrome session with geekdudes chrome.ahk?

Hello, since most of geekdudes chrome.ahk has changed multiple times, the explanations there don't really help me much. Let's say I have an already existing season open (NOT want to to create a new one, as every single example seems to show). How can I connect to that session and hgow can I then bra...

Re: [Library] Chrome.ahk - Automate Google Chrome using native AutoHotkey. No Selenium!

I now did the following: #Include Chrome.ahk Chromes := Chrome.FindInstances() Length := Chromes.Length() Chrome := Chromes[9222] Msgbox, % Chrome this does give me a msgbox with the command line text that was probably used to create the current running chrome thing. but I still fail to see what exa...

Just tried #Include Chrome.ahk a:=Chrome.FindInstances() Msgbox, % a however it only shows me an empty msgbox. Re: is there some tutorial for geekdudes chrome.ahk COM stuff?

Hi, I closed all chrome instances and used "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --remote-debugging-port=9222 in the command line. it opened chrome for me (no idea if debug and no idea how to check) now I used the code if (Chromes := Chrome.FindInstances()) TabInst := {"base"...
