@CyL0N That could work but preventing the shutdown will also cover other cases (windows update, forgetting to use the script). I got an AHK script that is creating an imdisk ramdisk, copy some files to the ramdisk, then starts a custom process that works with data on the ramdisk. None of the solutions worked for me on windows 10 1703, maybe it has something to do with me only having remote access via remote desktop connection, disconnecting from the remote desktop connection does lock windows but maybe there is something different done
