Re: PostMessage works by itself, but not in a function

Ok, strange.. If I only use one {Ctrl up} it isn't enough for it to send {Ctrl up}?

Taking out the extra one shows one modal box (which i want) but it's on top of another modal box...

and when it exits, it needs a {Ctrl up} so I think that's the problem..

PostMessage works by itself, but not in a function

Hello, Does anyone know why a PostMessage would work by itself, but not as part of a function or larger script? e.g. PostMessage, 0x111, 55377, , , works fine with a hotkey, but getByID(idno) { PostMessage, 0x111, 55377, , , ControlSetText, Edit1, %idno%, Select by ID Return } Does not work? Pulling...

Re: mouse button controls Ctrl Topic is solved

Let's say the hotkey is alt-c.

If mouse button is down then make Ctrl down. If mouse button is not down wait for mouse button down and then press Ctrl. (Mouse movement takes place). When mouse button is up release Ctrl.

What commands do I need to use for this?

Thanks!

mouse down ctrl down mouse up ctrl up Topic is solved

Hello,

I'm sure the answer's somewhere in this forum and the help files, but i'm not sure how to find it...

I want hotkey 'c' to wait for left mouse button down then press left control down and wait for left mouse button up to do left control up.

Thanks!
