Re: how to remove all duplicated words?

As for using object/haskey checks, it's only 3 lines of code... one strsplit and one for loop... not much of an overkill ... which in essence is the same as you have done with loop parse and instr. Fair enough, i just always go for the simplest approach, given i have no reason not to, is all. Yeah m...

Re: how to remove all duplicated words?

Builtin Sort function works fine for me on v2. Maybe you can try adding each word to an object as key to end up with a list with no repeated entries? Or maybe use mCode for speed? Sort function does work even in v1,it's simply not reliable,... As for Objects & mCode, WHA', that's just needlessly co...

Re: how to remove all duplicated words?

You could use Sort ,but i seem to remember it had reliability issues, but this works pretty well for me... s = ( Echo Echo echo echo ECHO ECHO echO Echo Echo echo echo ECHO ECHO echO Recommended for new scripts due to its superior speed and reliability. Re: Menu, ..., Rename error (bug?)

That doesn't sound right... I don't understand. If you have one menu item named Start and replace this item's name with Start the name Start still occurs only once within the menu. If something already exists, even if you're trying to replace it,then the object with which your replacing it with is n...

Re: Menu, ..., Rename error (bug?)

If you rename a menu item with its own name, the name stays unique within the menu. That doesn't sound right... Re: Menu, ..., Rename error (bug?)

It seems to have been around for ages same error in 1.24(tested out of curiousity)... Only happens if attempting to rename to it's own name, though. // Names must be unique only within each menu:, so might actually be intentional, given the error is generated when a unique name is not used?!?

Re: Best way to avoid Global declaration Plague from ruining the main script?

Fair Enough But... ...,the problem is that being too careful requires time, patience, it's tedious and makes all the process of writing scripts too slow! I completely agree, variable management is paramount for very large scripts, but 90% of what i write are 500<lines & most are functions anyway,so th...

Re: Best way to avoid Global declaration Plague from ruining the main script?

Let me start off by saying,i'm one of those lunatics that thinks there are valid reasons to use GoTo so long as it's not abused, such as performance(using goto in 'C' is way faster and the only way in some instances to avoid a stackoverflow & even in ahk it's ~35% faster than a function call ). And i...

Ehmm, it is a SINGLE hotkey that does two things, you just either TAP or HOLD,unless there's another way to use a single hotkey for different things, which in case there is, i too would like to know... As For Selectively 'Suspending' Hotkeys,it's easy enough... weAreAllowed := True #If weAreAllowed x:...

Re: FindText - Capture screen image into text and then find it Topic is solved

Regarding false positives/negatives, I think there are some improvements that can be made. I might add some stuff from FindText into my project Vis2, if that is okay with you feiyue. Color me intrigued, but how would that work given you use tesseract for OCR, and given i'm on the subject, might i su...

kay so,if neither mine nor Xtra's solution works for you, it can't be anything but a compatibility issue of some sort... Unfortunately.

i tested it with Arma 3 unit switching(next/previous unit) and it works just fine.

Re: Alternatives to Window Spy Topic is solved

1. What swagfag said, ahk_exe NOT ahk.exe
,as in #IfWinActive ahk_exe MaxPayne2.exe

2.You could try y::send, {e down}

3.Putting a hotkey outside of an #IfWinActive block or not using it at all will result in a hotkey that works anywhere.

Cheers
