Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

EitherMouse isn't for that, its for unique mouse settings (speeds, buttons, etc) for different mice

Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

clevo4k: thanks for the feedback, next time i look at it i will make it an optional addition to EitherMouse, doesn't hurt to have it in there and maybe it will spark more interest and ideas about implementing it sjdheunaskdf9384348: you should just experiment with normal avenues in ahk to do what yo...

Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

that ability is not in EitherMouse at this time... The animation shown is using a variation that i tweaked on for testing... If you want to play around with it i'll put up a sample to download at some point, but i don't want to mess with the released EitherMouse until its been debugged more and is a...

Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

Thanks for pointing out that "shadow" square in multicursor mode, i'll fix that EitherMouse doesn't support simultaneous use of multiple mice as of now, there are tons more things to figure out and make it functional (because windows is oblivious to multiple cursors, we have to draw the cursors, han...

Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

I'm not clear on what you're trying to accomplish... are you trying to create the visual effect of a second mouse/cursor, controlled by your own ahk script? or just the actions (clicking, dragging, hovering) of an imaginary second cursor that you control with ahk? If the latter, are you trying to ac...

Re: trojan in autohotkey installer?

Since "releasing" EitherMouse years ago, most of my false positive reports from users have been Avast, some Kalypso, but today was the first someone reported a Microsoft false positive... 1.1.23.1, same Varpes.M detected I always instruct users to report it (but doubt they do) and i have done so mys...

Re: Detect mouse movements(globally and without loop)

You can use OnMessage through the RawInput model, see EitherMouse in my sig for an example

I've never noticed it causing any lag, because the system isn't waiting to process the input like a hook would

Re: Closing all processes that are created by {process}.exe?

something like maybe (untested):

Code: Select all

  pDHW := A_DetectHiddenWindows
  DetectHiddenWindows On
  WinGet, List, List, ahk_exe Program.exe
  Loop %List%
   WinClose, % "ahk_id " List%A_Index%
  DetectHiddenWindows %pDHW%

Re: Run "as administrator" - problem

If the other application is running with administrator privileges then your script will have to be running as administrator to interact in many cases, its a windows security measure. I'm not sure if WinActivate is specifically one of those but I wouldn't be surprised (and you kind of tested it) If y...

Re: Detect when no application window is active?

AFAIK both the Desktop and the Taskbar count as a Window for ahk. I think that's your answer, just look for one of those being active and assume no 3rd party application window is Program Manager ahk_class Progman ahk_exe Explorer.EXE or {No title for tray} ahk_class Shell_TrayWnd ahk_exe Explorer....

Re: Gdip_TextToGraphics() works in XP, crashes win7

is there a similar way to use HICON:*%hIcon% for a menu icon? it doesn't like: Menu, IconMenu, Icon, Number, HICON:*%hIcon% or to do it manually with some function equivalent to shell32\Shell_NotifyIcon so I could use this hIcon := Gdip_CreateHICONFromBitmap(pBitmap) in a popup menu as well? thanks!...

Re: Gdip_TextToGraphics() works in XP, crashes win7

great... I will take your function and make my mods (text over an existing icon instead of rectangle fill) to it to be sure I maintain compatibility with 64-bit builds just in case, but yes I'm using 32-bit right now for most things

Thanks again!

Re: Gdip_TextToGraphics() works in XP, crashes win7

Thanks for the quick help...
Turns out my function worked as posted if I use "Gdip_All.ahk" so thanks for that tip... I don't know what the difference is or if I should always use that instead of the GDIP.ahk i've been using, but I will have to research further

Gdip_TextToGraphics() works in XP, crashes win7

Hey all, This Gdip call is crashing under windows 7+ but ran fine in XP Gdip_TextToGraphics(G, Number, "x-1 y2 w20 h20 Center r4 s10 Bold c" pBrush, "Tahoma") its part of this function for custom drawing tray icon: SetTrayNumber(Number, TextColour=0xff444444) { static pToken If !pToken pToken := Gdi...
