Re: Running function from Excel library Topic is solved

You are right, the hotkey ^!h is useless, it doesn't do anything. I thought it was needed for the #Include command but it isn't, I left it out now. What you say is right but I think I didn't make myself clear, I'm sorry. So here my problem, something clearer this time.. The code I have in the main fi...

Re: Running function from Excel library Topic is solved

Ok, thanks for the reply! I now used #Include C:\...\ahkLibrary.ahk to refer (include) to the 'library file'. In the other file I pasted the 'open Google' function like this. ^!h:: OpenGoogle(Path:="http://www.gmail.com") { Run, chrome.exe %Path% } But... I first did it without defining the path so ...

Re: Open Excel or when active go to specified Excel window

Thanks for the reply! It doesn't work for me tho, think I'm doing something wrong here. I tried pasting the 'SetTitleMatchMode 2' command everywhere around, and in the script. This is what I have right now, but it still opens Excel while the specific file is already opened. Path = C:\...\specificExc...

Running function from Excel library Topic is solved

Hey there! I don't know if this one is possible but I'm gonna ask it anyways. Any help is appreciated! I try to run a function which is written in an Excel sheet (my library). To test this I use an easy 'open Google' script that looks like this (and opens Google "duh"). Website := "http://www.google...

Open Excel or when already active go to active Excel window

I'm trying to open a specific Excel file. When it's already open I need to get to the Excel file. It works when Excel is closed (first part of if-statement), Excel opens the right file, is visible and the messagebox with the filename apears. But when the specific Excel file is already open and I act...

Re: Variable not recognizable? Topic is solved

Hi, thanks for the quick response. But, info1 still doesn't has a value right? That is what I'm trying to achieve here. GetInfoMenu is the dashboard I created and is the one where the 3 variables (Info1, Info2, Info3) should get values. The strange thing is that I have a similar dashboard some place...

Variable not recognizable? Topic is solved

After a button press the following input box opens with 3 input boxes. They need to be filled in and when pressing 'Search cells' the function should do it's thing. However, the function after this (not posted bcs not needed I think) didn't work and gave empty textboxes. When I checked why I found o...
