Re: Basic Excel Com Obj script Topic is solved

Unfortunately you didn't provide the Excel file, so I did one by myself in the same "order" (see attached file). If you place the Excel in c:\temp and run this script, a message box will provide you in every loop the content of column 1-5 Use this a blueprint. #NoEnv ; Recommended for performance an...

Re: Excel Objekt trennen und wieder neu verbinden

Gut erklärt just me .

Re: Basic Excel Com Obj script Topic is solved

I did a similar script to read from Excel and write in SAP GUI. To read from Excel object I use the cells function, because it uses number and you can use a loop. But I don't understand your code. First you're setting the cells, then you send undefined variables. If I understand your question, then ...

Sorry. I don't understand what you want.
in AHK Studio select a command e.g. ToolTip then press F1 -> AHK Help file is opened, and navigates to the ToolTip Help Section. How to achieve that in VSC?
Oh. I didn't know that. Sorry, can't help you.

Re: Uploading-downloading to-from Dropbox - OneDrive - Google Drive.

I'm mapping my OneDrive as a normal network share with net use. Than I can copy and move all the files with normal file commands.
Would this help?

Thank you for the explanation. I never log out, and I use the forum on several devices. So that causes the different behaviour.

I stay with my wish. 50 last post independently of the actions.

Re: Came across Visual Studio Code the other day

I'm using VSC for years with Python. Love this editor mainly because ofnthe integrated debugger. As I started intensively with AHK was my first thought to use VSC, too. But my biggest issue is the missing debugger. I found something with a "neutral" code runner, but it didn't feel smooth. So I switc...

Re: Creating Script to send message with variable

sorry @Samurai if I was too harsh.
Made a few changes t your script.

Code: Select all

^q::
Var := 0
Loop
{
	if (Var > 2) ; replace 2 to where you want to stop
		ExitApp
	else
	{
		SendRaw, !interact %Var%
		Send, {Enter}
		sleep, 6000
		Var += 1
	}
}

PS: Python is my origin language, too. =)

Re: AHK as assistive technology solution for people with disabilities?

vsub you're totally right. There are a few things to consider. I didn't test the drag&drop issue at all. Therefore, I would propose that this script is only the beginning to help MinxiesDev . He's a AHK user and probably knows how to modify or/and upgrade it. For the drag & drop I added the mouse p...

Re: AHK as assistive technology solution for people with disabilities?

That is easy. This script checks how log the left mouse button is pressed. If it's longer than 100ms, it sends a right click.

Code: Select all

~LButton::
HowLong = 0
while(getKeyState("LButton","P")){
	HowLong ++
	sleep 10
}
If (HowLong > 100)
	Send, {RButton}

Re: Assign csv cell value to variable Topic is solved

But you aren't assigning the value to a variable. Try this: var1 := CSV_ReadCell("Data", 1, 1) The whole code would be: #NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. ; #Warn ; Enable warnings to assist with detecting common errors. SendMode Input ; Recommend...

Hi. I'm starting here every time with the link "new posts" https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/search.php?search_id=newposts . But I really don't understand the query behind it. Sometimes I get 2 pages new posts. Today for example I got only one single post. I would prefer that this link shows for exa...

Re: WinHttp method POST

I think, that URLDownloadToFile creates a separate process, therefore the authentication of IE doesn't work. I didn't find anything how to authenticate for that. Probably there is no solution for that. I would go the next step. In the documentation of the URLDownloadToFile ( https://www.autohotkey.c...

I'm using Thunderbird with multiple account to. When I reply to a message on the right corner of the sender field there is an arrow. Clicking on it, I can choose every configured email address. By typing the first letter it jumps directly to the chosen address. Is this not usable for you? Zwischenab...

The problem is, that every site has different options for the search string. Google uses "q=". Your example uses "searchstring=". I don't think, that there will be a universal solution. Re: How to send command at cursor location

Hi. We need more information. Please post your code (don't forget to place it between the "code" tags).
If you trigger a hotkey you can send everything to cursor. That is a basic function of AHK.

Code: Select all

F2::SendInput, Hello
