Re: About AhkThread (Parent, Child and Sibling)

Use CriticalObject to communicate and share data between threads. The only thing that can cause the crash is DllOtherThread as far as I can see, so having this in a CrticalObject and make sure that you clear it properly should solve the problem. Hmm... HotKeyIt The crash happens suddenly, and I'm c...

Try this: Hello HotKeyIt ! Thank you so much for the idea. I adjusted some things to be exactly as I need. Finally the code below. #NoTrayIcon #SingleInstance, Force share:=CriticalObject({count:0,s1Thread:"",s2Thread:""}) s1Script := " ( #NoTrayIcon share:=CriticalObject(" (&share) "...

Re: About AhkThread (Parent, Child and Sibling)

MsgBox pauses the thread. To update you must either close MsgBox first or use custom display Gui instead. Yes, I understand that MsgBox pauses the Thread, but from what I understand, the CriticalObject(A_Args[1]) within the Loop communicates with the CriticalObject(s1Thread) that is outside the Loo...

Re: About AhkThread (Parent, Child and Sibling)

Hello! How to prevent the error that it throws, if Thread that is sent the variable is not running? I commented code above to show the error, if s1 is not running, it has error. EDIT: I've made a few attempts and I'm almost successful. But now only need to update the reading of s 1 when I activate s...

Re: FindText - Capture screen image into text and then find it Topic is solved

Resolution depends on various things(, but certainly not on monitor size as I stated blunderingly somewhere above - now finally edited) The easiest way would be, to ensure that displayed text (upon you exhibit search) would be bigger in size! That would require of course redefine all characters you...

this quote doesnt do anything there, so idk why ure putting it there
if ure using expression continuation section, then u have to escape the quotes, u double them.

Code: Select all

MsgBox % "
(
""escaped""
""quotes""
)"
Thanks!
