Re: Screen clipping

Hi and thanks for the script! Unfortunately, I can't get it to work... I only want to use the win+LButton part where it just gets a clip of the screen. Because of this, I've created the following script. Then just use my version that doesn't have the OCR built into it http://the-automator.com/scree...

I love this tool and use it everyday.

I wondered if anyone coded a variant which could create an animated gif?

It's the one thing on this tool which is missing.

R
I use LiceCap for creating animated gifs. While I have another tool for using ffmpeg for this, liceCap is super-easy to use

Merging together .mp4 files with ffmpeg & AutoHotkey

I love OBS but really missed having a "pause" button (like in Camtasia). maestrith, author of AutoHotkey studio , cranked out a tool to merge together .mp4 files with ffmpeg & AutoHotkey. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_Wt86oSTYQ Here is the source code and executable. maestrith leveraged his supe...

I watched the full video but still cannot use these functions. Could you provide some concrete examples?
Did neither one work? Did you save the functions in your library folder?

I've had this happen before but, sadly, I don't recall waht the cure was. I'd look for SciTE in your registry and consider deleting it there, then re-installing

maestrith's Object to String and Messagebox function

I asked maestrith to walk me through his message box function. There is more to it than what we covered but you can get the idea of how easy & flexible it is. It can take a variable, string, or an object. Best part is it can take multiple items (the function is Variadic). Make sure you download both...

Re: Screen Clipping Script is not extracting words/letters from images and showing error? Please Help?

After you use the screen clipping tool, you need to click on the image(screen clip) , then hit control T. That might prevent you from having to save it first.

Glad you got it working!

Re: Screen Clipping Script is not extracting words/letters from images and showing error? Please Help?

In this webinar http://the-automator.com/autohotkey-web ... -programs/ Jackie showed how to to use Tesseract. That's where I got the idea (and code) to incorporate into my screen clipping script.

Re: Screen Clipping Script is not extracting words/letters from images and showing error? Please Help?

Sorry, I wish I had time to help but this would be pretty tough to track down and I don't have the time right now. The only issue that I'm aware of / have run into is what is the "bitness" of windows your running as well as what is the bittness of AutoHotkey.

sorry...

Re: Highlighting the multiple instances of each word is not working in Scite4AutoHotKey? Please Help? Topic is solved

Virtually everything SciTE does, AutoHotkey studio does as well. AutoHotkey Studio has a lot of additional features (too many to list here). You can see an overview of it in this webinar http://the-automator.com/autohotkey-webinar-8302016/ The biggest drawback of it is that it is pretty-much only fo...

You were not supposed to have removed the other line that I suggested you add. The two work together. Just make sure they are both on their own line
