Re: Randomizing distribution points on a list of things

Hi, whichever method you prefer, just for the sake of completion: #SingleInstance Force StatList := ["Str", "Con", "Dex", "Int", "Wis", "Char"] StatArray := Array() StatPoints := 40 Limit_Min := 5 Limit_Max := 31 if (StatPoints < 8*Limit_Min) { MsgBox % "ERROR! Not enough Points! Minimum: " 8 * Limi...

Re: Randomizing distribution points on a list of things

Hi, I just came up with this solution for the Stat-Distribution, but it should be the exact same thing with the skillpoints and you should be able to adapt that yourself. This is my code, I'll explain it below. #SingleInstance Force StatList := ["Str", "Con", "Dex", "Int", "Wis", "Char"] StatArray :...

Re: Script Help, :D

Hi, I suppose you need something like this: #SingleInstance Force .:: Loop { Send, {i down} Sleep 10 Send, {i up} Sleep 1000 Click Sleep 6000 Click, right, down Sleep 4000 Click, right, up } return -:: Reload return If you press "-" the script will reload, which will essentially stop the action from...

Re: Mouse Rapid Fire Button, ahk not using

Hi, I seems like the macro you built with the other software is not executed. The X1-Button just defaults to it's native function. You could try running your AHK-script as Admin , this might solve the problem. Or you just redo the macro completely in AHK, because it fairly easy to do so. I suppose y...

Re: Winactivate not working

Well, with a full screen game you might get in trouble, because AHK is often not able to automate these. Have a look at this thread . In most cases you have to set the game to windowed-mode for it to work. In your case you could get along with something like "WinRestore". Something else: What I mean...

Re: Cant left click in an application button

Hi, I downloaded the app but unfortunately, this is not a solution. This is the script I used: #SingleInstance Force CoordMode, Mouse, Client DetectHiddenWindows On WinActivate, ahk_class HwndWrapper[Betternet.exe;;b60a3822-1de3-4a13-84f3-57da579f214d] WinGetActiveStats, Title, Width, Height, X, Y M...

Re: Winactivate not working

You could try to put a "WinGetTitle, OutputVar, A" right before the command that launches the GUI.
This way you keep track of the window that was there before and can activate it after the GUI is destroyed again (via "WinActivate").

I hope this does the trick.

Re: Help With IE COM Input box that has autocomplete results

Hi, what you have to do: You select the searchbox via ".Select()" and then use ControlSend to send text. Why you have to do this The website is waiting for physical keystrokes to be sent, not just a changed value. The Code would be something like this: WB.document.getElementsByName("search")[0].Sele...

Re: How to Scheduled auto opening of a script in windows

Hi,
on windows you have to place a link to that file in the Start-Up-Folder.

You can do this by pressing Win+R, typing "shell:startup" and pressing Enter.
A folder will be opened where you have to place the link to the file.

This way, the script will be launched on boot.

Re: Sometimes the keys assigned do not work

Hi, situations like the ones you describe are windows-internals where AHK is not able to work. This is like pressing Ctr+Alt+Del, where AHK will also stop working because windows does not allow any automation in these windows. I suppose it is the same in your case. There are some situations where AH...

Re: Relocating web browser windows

Hi, yes, AHK is capable of doing that. First you would have to iterate over all Chrome-Windows via WinGet,,List . When you have done that, use something like this (this is an example code I use for firefox, you have to adapt it to your needs) WinSet, Style, -0x1000000, ahk_class MozillaWindowClass W...

Re: AutoHotkey script for 'right click' & Auto Type. Topic is solved

Hi,
I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but is this what you want?

Code: Select all

#SingleInstance Force

MYData =
(
1. Line of predefined text 1.
2. Line of predefined text 2.
3. Line of predefined text 3.

)
;Right Click to auto type
Rbutton::
Clipboard := MYData
Send ^v
return

Esc::
ExitApp

Re: Hold down key in background

Hi,
Minecraft probably goes into "Inactive"-Mode whenever you tab out of it.
You could try setting it to windowed-mode, that might prevent that.

Re: Need super simple help!

If the button does always have the same appearance, you could take a screenshot of it and let AHK search for that picture via "ImageSearch" and then have the script click on the position on the screen where it found that "Image".

Re: [Internet Explorer COM Object] eintrag aus Auswahlliste auswählen Topic is solved

Re: Active website if it's already running

Assuming you don't want to use the Internet Explorer, you would probably have to Loop trough all open tabs (via sending "Ctrl+PgUp" to the browser window) and always check the window name. This can be done pretty fast, but you would still notice it. If Google Translate is open, the window name shoul...

Re: PowerPoint - Select Shape in Current Slide Topic is solved

Hi, try this: This script will (assumed you always start on slide one) always select the second shape, regardless of wether you press PageUp or PageDown. These Hotkeys are stacked, meaning that the PgUp-Hotkey will execute code of the PgDn-Hotkey, that's why there's a condition for the "SlideCount++...

Re: Auto capitalise line by line

Hi,
as a Hotkey, this works for me:

Code: Select all

^x::
    Send ^c
    sleep, 150
    StringUpper Clipboard, Clipboard, T
    Send ^v
    Return
It capitalizes the hightlighted text.
I changed your "Send %Clipboard% to "Send ^v", because that's faster.

Does this solve your problem?
