Re: Excel Tutorials and XL Function library

Thanks for your excel library @Joe Glines , Do you have instructions on getting it work?

When i try to run a script containing one of the functions I get an error saying they are nonexistant.

I know there's something simple missing.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Error says call to nonexistent function with excel Topic is solved

flyingDman I've figured out why it wasn't working. The excel workbook I was using the script on was a 1997-2003 xls workbook. Saving it as xlsx makes it work. Thanks to note The other script from TLM still didnt work, i dont know why. No worries though because i can unmerge now. the number variable...

Error says call to nonexistent function with excel Topic is solved

Hi all, I have a very simple script which is supposed to unmerge all cells. I got this from Joe Glines website, a very knowledgeable AHK forum member. XL:= ComObjActive("Excel.Application") XL.range("A1:L44" number).select() XL_Merge_Cells(XL,RG:="A1:L44",warn=0,Merge=0) The 1st line of the script w...

Re: Going directly to a folder when attaching documents (Namespace tree control) Topic is solved

So I've managed to make my own script to resolve this. In essence I automated the manual steps of getting the folder address from my old script. Please see comments in the code for an explanation. If anyone has suggestions on how I could optimise this even further that would be welcome. Its quite in...

Thanks for the advice all, ACC viewer: showed one big collapsable panel with class NN: WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.0.2eed1ca_r9_ad1. There was no path with numbers e.g. 4.1.2.3 ACC-viewer.png windowspy: Hovered over the paperclip without clicking and the class NN stayed the same as the rest of the w...

Going directly to a folder when attaching documents (Namespace tree control) Topic is solved

Dear all, I have a script below which I use to go directly to folders in explorer. A message box pops up and I put in the folder name and it will go directly there. Re: Using control click on the add attachments button with a specific class NN Topic is solved

guest3456 Thanks your script worked perfectly, unfrotunately there is a checkbox on the same window which shared the same NN class . same class NN.png So it looks like I'll be going back to the tried and tested method: 1. manually maximise the window 2. run the script 2. It will then click the same...

Re: Using control click on the add attachments button with a specific class NN Topic is solved

Hi @guest3456 yes that blue paperclip is what I clicked to bring up that "edit attachment" window.

Hi @SirSocks I would prefer to learn to use control click in this context. If i learn how to use it now I can always use it in more complex scripts later on.

Appreciate your help.
