Is the Selenium webdriver something to be considered for this type of initiative ?

jumpin jehosephat !!!
must have been kharmatic thang that caused me to ask the question about AHK_H deployment.
perhaps if i can get through this initial switch then i will be able to press forward with re-compiling with a different password.
thank you so much for your guidance.

Re: [WIP][App] LogSync - Load two log files and view side-by-side, synchronized by timestamps

So appreciate the timely response. I understand and that makes sense. To date AutoXYWH has worked nicely and no familiarity with Anchor. Hmmm, while I have you on the line, is there a definitive AHK_H deployment guide that you could point me to? For some reason "grokking" the sequence to switch over...

Re: [WIP][App] LogSync - Load two log files and view side-by-side, synchronized by timestamps

Hello EvilC, This looks quite valuable. Am I reading correctly that it will not run under Autohotkey_L ? May I trouble you for some insight as to the reason ? I have been pondering Autohotkey_H but it seems confusing to implement; this might be the reason to try installing it again. Thank you in adv...

Re: Does AutoHotkey_H Mitigate DLL Injection ?

HotKeyIt, Copy that and thank you for your expert input. At least I can say with confidence that my programs have the same characteristics as any other programs. Guess that makes dll injection a feature, and NOT a bug. As for source code protection, that is also of interest. However, even after read...

Re: Does AutoHotkey_H Mitigate DLL Injection ?

HotKeyIt,

Apologies for revisiting the original question even after guest3456 provided a general answer.

Do exe programs created with your AutoHotkey_H compiler respond to dll injection differently than programs created with AutoHotkey_L ?

Thanks again from a layperson.

Re: Does AutoHotkey_H Mitigate DLL Injection ?

guest3456, Wow, now that is interesting. Then why is it generally treated as a negative feature if any Windows program can be subjected to it? Are there different kinds; ie. off system versus same OS context? No need to respond because you have answered the questions, and clearly, I am now just tryi...

Re: Does AutoHotkey_H Mitigate DLL Injection ?

HotKeyIt, Thank you for the timely response. I followed the link and it "appears" to describe how you can inject autohotkey commands in to other programs. Of course I do not understand the process so I could be reading it wrong. My interest is to keep other programs from interacting with MY compiled...

Does AutoHotkey_H Mitigate DLL Injection ?

Hello, I recently saw a demo wherein "DLL Injection" occurred with an AutoHotkey_L executable. I do not understand "DLL Injection" or exactly what happens when compiling but "assume" that user32.dll is included in the exe. Does AutoHotkey_H behave the same way ? Thank you in advance for your time an...

ControlSend only works after WinActivate

Hello Forum, Apologies as I am sure I am overlooking something obvious. I have searched the forum and must be looking for it the wrong way. Basically, I have ControlSend working nicely, but ONLY after making the target window active. I've reviewed the usual suspects and they seem to be in order: Det...

MJs, First ... wow ... this is really well done and a great idea. I am wondering whether you have continued to improve it since last year. If not, that is cool and your most excellent work has already put me way ahead of the curve. If yes, I for one, am keenly interested in your latest and I would a...

Sinkfaze and Justme; thank you for that DLL call. It works as advertised. Lexikos; understood, i saw an anomaly and mistakenly presumed it was the limitation referenced on a couple of posts. Specifically I was getting truncated results - and this is where I did not think it through - on a citrix sea...
